Just saw the ex spurs midfielder Jamie O'Hara on the 'front. Anyone heard any rumours? Last time I heard about him he was at Wolves and not playing. Obviously out of our price range but maybe a loan or something?

GOD! SZ is worse than the Stasi. You can't even go for innocent walk along the seafront without being spotted, identified, named and famed/shamed! :smile:

If it was O'Hara it would be an interesting punt. Hasn't played much recently and nearly moved to Portsmouth on loan towards the end of last season but no deal was done. He certainly wouldn't come without baggage.........some of it very pretty. I could say many things but will refrain.

Michael Smith - Bristol Rovers?

Have mentioned him before, went to quite a few Bristol Rovers games last season as I'm at uni in the area and he stood out every time, got into the PFA team of the season despite being relegated and beat O'Toole to their player of the year, out of contract at Rovers and is a very good right-back for this level.

Nothing to do with this thread, but an observation. With two players making the PFA team of the season how on earth did Rovers drop out of the league?

Whilst I appreciate Central Defenders are important, surely we are "on the lookout" for anyone who will improve the squad?

Apologies for the off topic-ness, but they didn't have any real attacking threat, O'Toole scored goals, he got 15, Harrold got 7 but their next highest scorer only had 3, and John Ward was very stubborn and refused to change the team when they were struggling. Other than the two players who got into the PFA team of the year there were probably only 3 or 4 others who would get into any other L2 team.

Anyhoo, I've had a quick word from an entirely unreliable source that you're considering a move for Liam Chilvers. Can't see it myself, but thought I'd pass it on.
