I wonder whether football department have looked at Muhammadu Faal as a potential striking option.
Scored 38 goals for Enfield this season with a number of assists as well.
6ft 5, with pace and power and a good finisher.
24 years old. Earned a move to Bolton in 2020 following 20 goals in 23 appearances. Later returned to Enfield and has picked up where he left off.
He sounds immense! I hope we have been looking at him!

Good shout. He actually scored 41 goals this season in all comps too!

Isthmian Prem a bit different to the NL of course. But clearly someone playing way below his level.

Very much a Leon Constantine type of player in my view.

I mentioned him a while back but no one really took note. Think he'll fly under the radar. Definitely good enough for NLS and probably NL too

0 goals in 22 games for Barnet at this level last season would be a bit of a concern though.

Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t look at him, but reminds me a bit of Brandon Goodship. Able to score plenty of goals at step 3/4 but not quite good enough to make it in the National League/EFL.

all the rumours are for players in lower leagues it seems. We also need players who know this level and if possible some decent ones with football league experience or we will simply have another rebuild when we go up. It is great we are looking at young players from the leagues below but our whole transfer strategy cannot simply be that as it is a big step up still with a lot of these players going from part time to full time.

The strongest rumours at the moment are for two players playing at National League level last season - Dan Mooney at Altrincham and Cav Miley at Eastleigh.

Problem is, why would any player with good EFL experience join us at the moment unless they are on the downward trend? We don't really want to be signing players on their way down, and we don't have the money to attract anyone with good experience at that level but minus baggage. Ogogo and Coulson both had good EFL experience, and it hasn't worked out. If anything, they've proven that any realistic signings for us with good EFL experience are, at this point in time, just as big a risk as signing players from the level below.

Plus - I trust John Still and the management team.

Have the club officially announced what's happened with the current scholars or the U16's who have been given scholarships?
