Hyde seems to run a fitness business in Windsor so maybe if he knowns that he is approaching the end of his career, somewhere nearer Windsor might not be a bad move for his final years.

If the club or kevin feel a 32 year old id the answer .Why ditch the old gard .And then back track and bring in one just as old .Just does not make sence to me .
It's not as black and white as that, the right 32 year old could be ideal for us, look at Peter Crouch signing for Burnley.

It made no sense for future planning but he was exactly what they needed to be the option off the bench

I'm sure a Wrexham fan said he was based in Woking so Windsor's pretty near. Let's face it no one no matter what they do who is under contract will go elsewhere without that contract being honoured. The issue is who pays what. Woking to Southend isn't the greatest journey but easier than Wrexham. Or maybe he thinks he can battle for his place. So many variables and loads of speculation. Who knows what the outcome will be. My guess is he'll stay put but who knows.

My prediction is once he squeezes a few extra pounds from Wrexham he is on his way!
Is it a good addition?
There are risks attached to signing experienced players but that does not mean we should never do it. Last season we signed too many and hence my disquiet.
I believe that at the right price he is a good addition. There is also the fact that our options are limited by our present circumstances (chronic striker shortage as the beginning of the season approaches) and decisive action on our part is required.
My hope will be that this season he scores more against Wrexham than Sam does against us!

There's a huge difference between basing a large chunk of your squad on older players, a few of which are not up to it any longer and having a well balanced squad of youth, peak age players and a couple of seasoned pros still capable of performing.

I'm not in a position to say if Hyde fits the description of capable of performing or not. That's one for the coaching team.
