SUFC (southend) - club becomes a shambles, falls apart.

SUFC (sheffield)...

This all points to a bit of cat and mouse to me and some ****housery going on and now its going public. It's been brewing in all honesty, if you've been following him on Instagram.

No way can a Manager be that wrong about the status of one of his players.

Time for the games to stop and let's act like adults and get the deal done that it would appear most parties want.

You could ask Phil Brown what he thinks?

On a free transfer, with a smaller compensation to us as an u24.
The Professional Football Compensation Committee take into account ‘substantiated interest’ when setting Compensation Fees for Under 24 players:
“In making a determination as aforesaid, the Committee shall take into account the costs set out in Regulation 4 and any of the following criteria:
3.1 the status of each of the Transferor Club and the Transferee Club;
3.2 the age of the Player;
3.3 the Training Model(s) (as that term is defined in Youth Development Rule 1.77) on which the Player was engaged with the Transferor Club;
3.4 the amount of any fee paid by the Transferor Club upon acquiring the registration of the Player;
3.5 the length of time during which the Transferor Club held the registration of the Player;
3.6 the terms of the new contract offered to him by both the Transferor Club and the Transferee Club;
3.7 his playing record including any international appearances;
3.8 substantiated interest shown by other clubs in acquiring the registration of the Player.”

‘Substantiated interest’ from QPR for Dan Bentley the previous summer increased the compensation Brentford paid for him the following year, and it would be the same for Dalby next summer.

Quite ambitious to come out with a flat out lie about him having had surgery, bad enough to say "oh he's injured at the moment" but surgery is very black and white, it either happened or not, and if it's been made up it makes the manager look like a proper fool.

Sheffield United aren’t exactly covering themselves in glory with this are they.
Look, I think we as a club need to say to Sheffield United, cards on the table, can we have him or not? If it’s probably a no then we need to move on. I would absolutely love Kaspa back with us this season, believe me, it would be an immense signing for us, but equally I don’t want us pinning all I hopes on him and then miss out on other potential CB targets if there is no deal for Kaspa. We are now too close to the start of the season to risk that happening!

That is quite weird. Someone has made a mistake! Ooops.

Surely the Łopata "saga" should act as a "warning" to Sam Dalby about what can happen when you go to a club where there is significant competition for places.

I know people will say "you have to believe in yourself" etcetera but, for me, it's much better to be playing than sitting on a bench looking at your bank balance on your mobile phone.

Each to their own.
Don’t suppose dalby will worry to much he can sit on the bench counting all the pounds in his wallet

You see, I don't think that is a view that Dalby would agree with. The lad is still only 22 and at that age he will want to play every week, it's in the psyche of the young. Older players that have been around the block may have the sit it out attitude, but when you're young you still have something to prove.

Probably right but what I meant was he’s only making a move to Wrexham for the big money they are paying players would have excepted him moving to a league club but to another national league team most players dream of getting out of the terrible non league so it’s all money motivated
