Wreh looks quite able and still has room to grow. Hopefully once he puts pen to paper he will be an asset to SUFC.

Similar style of player to Josh Kelly, carries the ball and cuts through defensive lines with tidy footwork and a turn of pace.
I said earlier, he reminds me of Freddy in that he is a protagonist, he tries to make things happen on the pitch. Plus, as you say regarding Kelly, there are clear similarities in style with Wreh (based on YouTube videos at least). Just goes to show, again, that we've actually been scouting for the kinds of player that we need for the way/s we want to play.

Has he got pace?

Just coz he won’t cost as much as kelly etc doesn’t mean he isn’t gonna be able to do the same job as Kelly. Not underwhelming in my eyes. And saves the money for a certain 🇵🇱

I really hope the lad smashes it and scores goals a plenty if he signs. I hope that he signs and goes on to out score Josh Kelly and makes my previous comment look a real stupid one. I’m just a little hesitant when it comes to free transfers from lower leagues given our recent record.. especially when it’s in place of someone who we were willing to spend good money on. That said, I fully accept that given our new approach to scouting and recruiting, I’m fully behind the decision to bring this lad in and like i said, I hope he goes on to score lots of goals for us to either get us promoted or to sell on for a good fee (as in the Brentford mould that we seem to be adopting).

I hope he scores the winner against Maidenhead!

It's that ability to find half a yard for a finish. Nobody we currently have apart from maybe Mooney is capable of that consistently.

Would be very happy with Wreh. Looks like a baby Akinfenwa. Good feet, good shot on him, looks like he could could go shoulder to shoulder with someone and put them in row Z, powerful but also pretty quick. Think he’s got all the attributes to do very well at this level.
Indeed. He's definitely a punt, but one where you know he has the qualities to succeed. Question mark, if any, would be over application and desire in the past but he appears to have knuckled down these past few seasons. He'll need to work hard but from what I've heard he is more than prepared to do that, and is confident in his ability.

Do I? Read the forum a fair bit not every post mind and not once have I seen an ITK poster suggest we’ve been in for Cheek? The striker mentioned before was Kelly from the start. Cheek mentioned (by non ITKs) what because he’s a local lad but as mentioned before would we be paying fees for strikers with no resale? Doubt it
Or pay a fee for a player who will be motivated to do well for Southend Utd and make his dad the most proudest man on earth as his own son played an part in helping Southend reclaim their football league status.

Off topic but just realised Akinfenwa has now officially retired aged 40 after one last season with Wycombe in League One.

What a guy and what a career 👏🏻
