I've trawled through the post-match comments and, apart from fbm (who was rather under-whelmed) I can't see any comments on Murphy Mahoney (could have some Irish blood?😉). So, if anyone has any views prior to us signing him (no IK 😂) I'd appreciate it. In the context, of course, that we were poorer in the second-half

It wasn’t a I’d be disappointed with Wreh. I really like him and has done really well so far
 
I think Wreh will be a good signing, saw nothing but pure effort from him all games that he played in and contributed quite a few times in different matches.

As I said after the Colchester game, I have never seen a man of his stature get knocked down to the floor as many times as he did, and still have the ball after getting up straight away, could be a hidden gem with a lot of potential - if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out, that's just football.

Do I? Read the forum a fair bit not every post mind and not once have I seen an ITK poster suggest we’ve been in for Cheek? The striker mentioned before was Kelly from the start. Cheek mentioned (by non ITKs) what because he’s a local lad but as mentioned before would we be paying fees for strikers with no resale? Doubt it
 
I haven’t been to any of the games so far this summer so I really can’t comment as to how good I think the lad Wreh has looked but.. knowing we interested in Josh Kelly to the point whereby we actually bid money only to miss out on him, to bring this lad in instead seems a little underwhelming.. if that is to be the case.
 
Wreh looks quite able and still has room to grow. Hopefully once he puts pen to paper he will be an asset to SUFC.

Similar style of player to Josh Kelly, carries the ball and cuts through defensive lines with tidy footwork and a turn of pace.

Just coz he won’t cost as much as kelly etc doesn’t mean he isn’t gonna be able to do the same job as Kelly. Not underwhelming in my eyes. And saves the money for a certain 🇵🇱
