When have you ever seen him play?I am absolutely gutted. The quality is there for all to see. He's not only an improving player, he was playing part time. He will get even better training full time.
But he did want to be with us! Unfortunately it wasn't up to himNot too bothered about this TBH, I would rather have someone who would want to be with us
Take it you dont like him thenAll we can do is note the date 29 August 2022 - Maidenhead at Roots Hall. Lets take the **** out of that Southend-hating Wet Sham fan and utter fool Devonshire… firstly with stick from the stands, and also by thrashing his muppets out of sight. With any luck they will be relegated this year and the flat cap wearing ****er will be joining the dole queue.
Kelly wanted to come here. Solihull were very much his second choice.Yes its dissapointing that Kelly didn't join us but we only want players who really wont to be at RH.Clearly he thinks his move to Soilihull is better than Southend then so be it we move on
Solihull did well to even be second choiceKelly wanted to come here. Solihull were very much his second choice.
2 Full games, and 20 minutes when he came on as sub at their place v Southend, after recovering from injury. At Roots Hall he was the best attacking player on the pitch, nearly scoring 3 times, one of which Murphy cleared off the line, as I remember it. He had the beating of Demi and Hobson on the ground. I remember raving about him afterwards in the car with some mates. He was brilliant. Then I've seen those goals, assists and high lights videos. I've seen enough to tell he's about League 1 standard. A 6 figure fee would suggest others see it that way as well. He was only training part time with Maidenhead. He's going to get better. When have you ever seen him play?
Quite possibly. And the guy we have yet to sign might be even better!Personally got a good feeling about Wreh. Yes he's only played at a lower level but looks to have the attributes to do well. Most of the top strikers in this league started at lower levels. We could have the answer right under our noses.
A fantastic/interesting listen. Thanks for sharing
I was listening to the podcast above yesterday. It is a podcast with Kevin Maher, worth a listen. He states that he wants two more players. I can't see us signing two strikers if we only have 2 spots available.
I reckon Sheffield Utd recalling him in March have ruined his relationship with them, especially they didn’t start him or put him on the bench etc. We use the money we saved from Kelly bid & an 30% clause for Lopata.Interesting to see Lopata still putting the countdown on his Instagram stories. Seems like the relationship there is pretty irreparable so would’ve thought it would be in Sheffield United’s interests to get him off the books now? A bit of cash and a decent sell on would be good business for them I reckon.
Yeah I think that definitely hacked him off. Dare I say it, but I reckon Lopata would be better business than Kelly anyway. All good teams are built from the back and with Murphy, Dalby, Cardwell and potentially Wreh, I think we’ll have good attacking options, especially with Bridge, Powell and Mooney on the wings.I reckon Sheffield Utd recalling him in March have ruined his relationship with them, especially they didn’t start him or put him on the bench etc. We use the money we saved from Kelly bid & an 30% clause for Lopata.
Yes, a cheeky bid along the lines you have suggested is a long shot but well worth the effort.Interesting to see Lopata still putting the countdown on his Instagram stories.
