I think we need someone capable of producing a piece of magic from nowhere to decide a game that is otherwise grinding to a deadlock. There will be times this season when we're goalless at someone like Aldershot simply unable to pick the lock.

I'm not sure who that player is for us. Mooney a great signing I agree, but who is our wildcard? Our out of the ordinary hero? I just see a lot of effective if unspectacular quality, but not much...maverick, take a game by the scruff of the neck individual class.

Just my opinion of course and not even intended to be negative, simply wondering who that man is in our squad if indeed there is one?
Well this is where someone who scores in a bad side and has to create for themselves trips someone in a great side finish great moves. As a midfielder Benton arguably meets your criteria as he is capable of picking up the ball 30 yards out and sticking it in the top corner. Murphy scores in good sides or bad. Pace is always a threat and I think Powell could become a creator of something out of nothing.

Maybe he’s not joined yet .. just saying.

Corie Andrews looks to be on his way to Torquay, he did well in a loan spell at Col U, just after a loan spell at Aldershot, scoring 9 times in 20 games. Only started 3 times at Col U, and manged 1 in 11 coming off the bench in his 8 game balance.

Aged 24 and released from AFC Wimbledon, wouldn't say no myself.

Also, a former team-mate of Dan Mooney, Toby Mullarky, CB, has been the subject of a rejected bid from Chesterfield. 25 years old and spent the last 3 seasons at Altrincham.

I might be wrong, but I would have thought beyond our financial reach, but again, one I would take without a blink of an eye.

We put it up in the car park and have a temporary tap tent with beers from Leigh and St Georges Brewery at £4 a pint for 2 hours before kick off and however long after until kegs empty.?
#sillyanswer?
Now you're talking ! And that's not silly in my book! The club should be doing these type of match day food snd drink events throughout the season. Tie ups with local brewers and food outlets is a great idea massimo..

Does anyone know why this doesn't happen? Is it a license thing?

It's such a simple, easy set up. It would stop such big queues in the stadium too.

Yeovil away end was great. Let us out of a side gate to a truck that sold drinks from the side of it. Simple but effective.

Club could charge a pitch fee and the company in question would make money no bother!

I think the club shop could do so much more too, and have a range that attract money from visiting supporters as well as Roots Hall (limited time option) merchandise. Simple stuff like fridge magnets, rock, "kiss me quick" style hats, the retro shirts from the Trust, a calendar that runs from August to August with the current squad featured and fixtures on it. Beer mats, glasses, specialist clothing like cycle tops.
Simpler stuff like getting a Rossi ice cream van in for those few months that are in the heat of summer and early autumn.

I think the landlords of the Railway, Blue Boar and The Spread Eagle would certainly object. They rely so much on match days.
