Dalby has a worse record at this level with 11 goals in 63 appearances over the past two seasons. Yet he was great last season and is one of our best players.

Stats don’t always show the full picture and a forward doesn’t need to have an insane goalscoring record to be a worthwhile member of the squad.

The ship has probably sailed with Akinola but not because of stats.
Sim signed for us when we still in Div 2 and when the time came for us to consider the existing option in his contract he would have been one of our highest earners (guessing here!). Considering his age and injury record there could never have been any chance of the option being taken up.
He is now training with us and I would suggest that whether he has any future with us or not rests with the management.
Do they see any role for him at the club? If the answer to this question is no then he will be surely be gone before too long.
If the coaches do see a role for him then terms might be offered. And, at the right price he might be useful to have around as he is experienced at this level.

I'd keep him,he had his best season with barnet under Currie.Players who know currie and played for him seem to perform well for our current team.
