Would be more upset if we lost out on a proven talent, but still we've managed to balls this up somewhere down the line. Let's hope it's a one off.

He should have looked at the players rate signing, the plans we have in place and based his decision on that

Daggers are a better club than us at the moment. We are we deserve to be and until we can turn it round we have to suck it up. We lost 8.0 on aggregate last season. Lots going on to suggest we may right some wrongs this season but suggest if we finish above Daggers next season we are making good progress.

Yeah not a dead cert - who is? - but he’s someone I definitely wanted.

But the reason I wanted him was his potential, the sort of potential that could in time pay for a stand. However the way you guys apparently secured him was by limiting how much you stand to gain if he does fulfil that potential and whilst that’s not to be sniffed at it’s not going to build a stand and set a club up for a decade. So whilst this does hurt it’s not throwing away a winning lottery ticket where you’ve got all 6 numbers and more one where you know at most it can be a bonus ball win…
