When Ron says the budget remains the same I think he means his own personal contribution from his companies remains unchanged . If it the lower figure it explains the situation on the lack of new signings - they cannot be afforded - and we can rule out an embargo being the cause.

Stan said, I think, that the playing budget was unchanged for this season. What that means in terms of how much Ron needs to find month by month is difficult to say as there are a few moving parts, and no doubt there a number of areas of improvement in terms of commercials/financials implemented to date by Tom..
 
Can to look to see who your targets were but I wouldn’t be too worried, we’ve signed not one player yet. Players at this level wait until the last minute to sign just to be sure no other club comes in with a better offer, even £100 per week. They’ll all start signing when pay roll cut off time arrives which is usually the last week off June.

Is your budget only £1.4m? Be suprised if it’s so low on your gates/support, ours is £1.2 without investment. What’s Ron doing?

The playing buget is set without gate money which wont roll in untill the start of the season .Lat seasons gate money would have allready been spent on players wages and other things ie tax . Also players in this leauge can be brought in through out the deason .Window does not shut likt the EFL untill later next season .So players can be brought in as and when needed .

And another thing, why do most daggers have an unhealthy infatuation with us? There is virtually zero history between the two clubs? you’re not even really Essex either?
 
I may have missed it but was there a vote on the salary cap. The only update I could find was about a vote on July 1st. Can anyone tell me what the proposals are. At the last National League AGM they were talking about £900,000.
 
Don’t forget, we had the top 4 wages budget in NL under Phil Brown, glad most of the older players is released as it’s will shave the wages bills off.
