It’s like finally the chickens have come home to roost how many times have I been shouted down for my comments on the fictional £400000 that we need to spend which makes rootshall not fit for purpose .. then there was the training ground where I was laughed out of the thread ! All I have done is bang my head into the Wall trying to say it’s all bull **** smoke and mirrors from Ron to convince us we must leave rootshall and now …. Lo and behold … we must stay at roortshall

What no reserves then ?, all councils claim to be skint !
They do yes, but Southend council couldn't even afford to run the park football pitches at the end of last season. Aide from that why should the council pay for anything, just curious. Do they pay part of the costs for local restaurants and shops or maybe your local corner shop.

It’s on now - congratulations to @CRATE for what he’s doing.

Sounds like a consortium of local businessmen are interested in buying. From what he said about one of the people leading things (involved in the purchase of 4 out of the 6 premiership clubs) it sounds like Laurie Pinto, which is encouraging as he’s been involved in the negotiations already so will have his eyes wide open on this.l transaction.

No they don't, but the point is more about the reserves councils sit on while claiming to be skint and that includes when cutting services.. Like having a rainy day fund but it's never used even when the roofs leaking..
Putting that aside perhaps the council could also add pressure on RM working with the MPs that will costs them nothing !

What is the good news? Is it the statement? I’ll get excited when it arrives…

What can we expect to see in the statement?
The good news is the potential that actual decent ownership is a possibility just need the current awful owner to get the hint and do one
