A Quick question re RM plans , last autumn the story was that RM needed the new training grounds to be in use ASAP so that B&L could be developed bringing with it the funds to carry on the overall project! So is that first part still going to happen?
The releasing of Boots & Laces for demolition for the beginning of the first phase was mooted to be bringing him a big chunk of cash, some of which he would then use to recapitalise the club.

Problem is, he still doesn't have planning permission for the stadium he wants to build and there's no immediate sign of it being forthcoming. So I'd say that plan is out of the window.

I think he's coming to terms with the total collapse of his 25-year plan (which admittedly wasn't meant to last 25 years). He doesn't want to let it go (understandably) but the MPs have possibly given him a reality check. I think Fossetts is dead and the only way he gets any kind of inheritance for his family here is if he sells what he has and walks away.
Bingo!

Let's be honest, if he is selling RH, surely all FF plans need to be scrapped and re-drawn. There won't be a need for a stadium if RH is sold to the right people.

It’s not true they are still in
So many rumours to know which is true or not. To be fir its a joke, not the Man Utd sale has taken longer.

So Kimura still and and not out
Kimura have tabled a bid or not?
Who else is interested?
Who else has tabled a bid?
Who is making the tea and bringing the biscuits for any meetings?

It’s got the the pathetic stage now, we ll refresh refresh refresh, then sniping starts at one another as people do not know whats true and what isnt, and yet from all the rumours and statements it seems no oe has got a bid in that’s acceptable so with some 2 weeks to go we are looking up the creek without a paddle pretty much

To be honest, I just don't think he knows. The entire plan for Fossetts as it stands is highly unlikely to come to fruition, imo. Sounds like there have been too many oversights with regards to minutae of planning, i.e. around traffic, local infrastructure, etc.

The most accurate thing at the moment, I think, is that it's on the back burner and the club's future has been decoupled from it. Nobody, including RM, knows when or if Fossetts is going to happen. Ownership of RH can revert to new owners (ideally the club), and perhaps Fossetts will be revisited in the future once there is more clarity and a realistic chance of it actually happening.

By revisiting, I mean the Martins can ask the club if they still want a new stadium there. If not, then he can use the footprint of the planned new stadium and amenities for additional housing instead which will address what he loses from not developing the Roots Hall site.

Ultimately, these new terms if they are what the club is sold on, untangle us from the Fossetts web. If the club doesn't want to move to a new stadium at Fossetts once all the issues around the planning have been sorted, then the new stadium won't be built.

I think the MPs have also given him a lifeline to be able to build houses at FF where the stadium was going to be, which allows him to sell Roots Hall. So Ron hasn't really lost out, just moved the location of the houses - he'll still be quids in!!!

Do

No, because they're everything he isn't and he's petrified of someone making our club a success when he failed so many times.

Its like the lunatic you read about in the paper who murdered his girlfriend and was quoted-"if I can't have her nobody will"..,

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you. Ronaldo suddenly is waking up to the potential of this club and if he can’t be part of it nobody can type thing.

Meeting has taken place, others more respected than me can verify. I can’t say who was in it, but it’s great to know so many are working so hard to save our club.

My activity will slow down now as I don’t want to hinder what work they’re doing.

But please keep the faith!

I’ll do as much as I can to communicate anything I’m able to.
