I love your posts Riggers, IMO you're one of the best on here but you do love to paint our fans as one entity that is wrong about everything. Like 8,000 people should all be agreed as one as to the most sensible course of action all the time.

The last thing I would expect is fans to agree on anything. It is highly likely they would choose the popular option rather than the best. After all a camel is just a race horse designed by a committee.

Unlike so many on here who claim they would by the club with a lotto win, I would not invest a pound. No matter who was in charge.

Forgive me for not keeping up, but what is the current status?
  • Kimura said they had set a deadline of Wednesday and their offer was off the table
  • There have be posts here and on Twitter suggesting the deal in not dead. Did they not follow through on the threat to withdraw?
  • Its been stated that Ron doesn't want to sell to Kimura. Is that just speculation or is there some good evidence to support that?
  • The club is up for sale for £1, but no-one is going to buy just the club and its list of creditors. Is Ron simply not interested in selling anything but the club?
  • Are we now able to renew Jack (if hes interested) under the 16 player rule?
  • Given we are going into the season under embargo again, are we going to shift some players to recruit in areas we are weakest?
  • The water is off at B&L and would be at Roots Hall if they could have gained access. As soon as the gates open on match day, will it be cut off, or has that been resolved now?
I just want to confirm that the 3rd bidder is only interested in buying the club . It does not have sufficient resources to buy the stadium . Ron is quite happy with this outcome but would have much preferred to sell the stadium as part of the deal . Unfortunately , the other two bidders have not been able to come up with viable plans that are acceptable to him. It is therefore likely that he will be forced into a position where he has no alternative but to accept the terms set out by the 3rd bidder . The people behind the 3rd bid are now carrying out DD and taking the owners and directors text . Any significant problem unearthed by the DD will be the responsibility of Ron to sort out . The paperwork involved in buying a football club is considerable and will take a few weeks to complete . Meanwhile , there is absolutely no point in continuing with protests and boycotts. It is now time for fans to step up to the plate and buy their season cards for the new campaign . The lads on the pitch need to know they enjoy the full support of the fans.

So a multitude of people have categorically said there is not a 2nd or 3rd bidder, but yourself and possibly one other has said there is, care to share more?

Edit: Waiting for the 'oh no sorry, cannot do that to my sources, they will put me in the dog house and take my ice cream away'.

You weren't actually doing too badly up until this bit.

The reason that plans for purchasing the stadium haven't been acceptable to RM is because he's greedy. It's that simple.

Being stuck with RM as landlord will be unacceptable to many.

Any idea who this 3rd party is?

At this point though I mean as long as his not part of the footballing side of things it’s all okay FOR THE MOMENT THOUGH. Maybe then they can spend an extra let’s say couple of months to try and secure a deal to buy the stadium from Ron…

Nah, as soon as he sheds the club he will never answer their calls again. Mission accomplished in his eyes.
