Shame we can't get you at the negotiating table with him. You seem to be one of the few people Ron has actually listened to in recent years. The upturn in form last season was in no small part due to your intervention and getting Ron to leave the football side of things alone. Now, if you could just convince him to do the same with the rest of the club, that'd be great...

Can you find any quote since my official photo and official role being confirming that I was working for free?

If you do, quoted fully by me, anywhere, I'll leave my role immediately.
 
This is exactly the poison that one man has produced. A thread where people turn on Tom, others turn on Stan and others turn on each other. There is one man to blame for this, and that should never be forgotten. Whatever happens with the outcome. My hope is that when they want to do the development at Roots Hall, they find archaeological remains or endangered species below and the land becomes worthless or that the staff at the club go on to become councillors and scupper Ron's future plans.

I pretty sure all he has said in the past is he hadn't been paid, which essentially working for free and probably been insinuated that way.

You could of course say "John Still is quiet", but me being on all platforms, I'm the obvious one to question for some bizarre reason.

I haven't been paid since October.

I'm as much in the know as everyone else in the Football Department.

PS. Anyone seriously questioning Tom Lawrence is so far off the mark it's not even funny. Without him there is a very good chance there would have been no club, several times. Be careful who you throw your vitriol towards is my advice.

My remit is Football Department, Media, Commercial, Supporters. The first two there is literally zero I can add to at the moment, third one I've put some great partners to the club, last one I haven't been able to host my regular monthly meeting because it was decided above me not to.

I hope that's clear enough for everyone on my current input.

you deserve every pound you earn Stan and more , dont take the ramblings of one person to heart please .you have done wonders for all of us and most feel so happy you are part of out great club .

Please just ignore. Its tiresome. I doubt they turn up at their employer and work for free or even offer to...but yes I remember what you said on the Zoom call

What London Shrimper said yesterday isn't necessarily at odds with what Ron said last night either. It's very possible that they both have different views on how the drawing up of the contract is going and how long it will take.

It may also be as simple as London Shrimper expecting an announcement that the sale has been agreed, but the final parts of the contract are still to be completed, and realistically it won't be done before the court appearance.

Both ways LS and Ron are correct.
 
I think, for the position we are in, we are very lucky to have the likes of SVC, Tom, John Still, the three amigos, etc....

Let`s not, at this difficult time, make it uncomfortable for them, and in fact all posters at this critical time for the football club.

We are all feeling the same, we all should be United in getting through this and coming through stronger.

We know the problem, and hopefully, it will be fixed for good.

You see Stan you’ve just shown that what I said isn’t actually incorrect - I specifically said that you have “previously stated” that you would work for the club for free. Indeed, you have not said this since your official role being confirmed, but I never said you’d said it since then either.

All I have said is that, in the past, you said you would be working for free. This is completely correct.
