I don't believe it to be anything nefarious. Just that the stadium part of the deal needs a lot more discussion, checks, guarantees and contracts, and therefore time that the football club side of the deal doesn't have the luxury of.

If parking the stadium deal for a few weeks could be the difference between getting a deal for the football club across the line in time or not, then it has my cautious support.
I agree it doesnt and am sure they will sort it, or i hope they will

Although not the ideal and preferred outcome it seems to me a good compromise that would address the here and now issue's that have to be resolved on the playing side. I appreciate the view that this strengthens RM position and will not be the complete exorcism from our club as we all desperately want, but from what we are led to believe it's an option, an option that the new ownership hopefully will consider workable whilst they still pursue full ownership, lock stock and barrel! I understand that the off field potential around FF development arguably is the Golden Egg for any potential investors or buyers, be that for the new ownership or RM himself. At the end of the day it comes down to if any new ownership wants to buy a football club with potential or a potential opportunity for return that also comes with a football club ?

Not a fan of it at all. We need complete rid of him
Not the best solution at all, but if it means we can complete but the 12th and not be suspended from the league or a points deduction then I would take it. I would hope any sale has a clause that the deal for the stadium needs to be completed within the next 4-8 weeks after the sale that would then make it more palatable.

For the ITK's

Is the agency ron hired actually involved in all this? or is it Ron handling all negotiations.

I seriously hope its the former considering rons probably the worst person in the world to do business with.
Yes they still have an active role

Imagine Ron will be rubbing his hands together at the prospect of getting rid of the loss making club and still be in control of FF
Yes , I can quite easily imagine that . Up in Chesterfield the owner , casino operator Dave Allen , was much disliked by fans just as Ron is down here . He got tired and fed up with always forking out to keep the club afloat . So, he paid up historic debt and then just handed over all his shares to the local trust and told them to run the club in future.
It would be interesting to know how the Shrimpers Trust would react if Ron followed that same approach . Do you think they would be any good at running the club and would they make a success of it ?. Ron is still around but just sticks to sorting out FF .

They are at-risk investors. It's their game. There is an element of risk in pretty much everything they put their money into.
Agreed, but this is different to their usual business ventures. Many have noted how passionate they are about the club, being local lads etc.

I honestly think if Kimura aren’t 100% sure about the deal they are getting being a good and fair one, they will walk away - they will not want to enter a business they care about so much already not 100% sure.
