Said it was the first club he’d ever went to see as his Nan lived in Southend. He also said there was a group of really good people that wanted to get involved with the stadium development and really hoped it all came to fruition

Admitted to having a soft spot for us but delinked himself from previous rumours as he said he was an agent (in respect of becoming a board member)

Sounds about right. ISM were lined-up to be part of the group but once they found out that the regulations didn't allow for it as they're agents, that fell by the wayside. ISM are still inextricably linked with Kimura Performance though, so doesn't stop them being involved in other ways - just not as board members or major shareholders.

So no news today... We really are gonna roll into court next week aren't we? It's starting to get real :(
I reckon Ron will somehow scrape together just enough to kick the can further down the road next week, hoping that he'll be able to persuade the judge that he remains in serious negotiations with Kimura and/or another "interested party". Whether that will be enough to convince the judge is dubious, and will only, prolong the agony.

As always he's playing a dangerous game and the stakes could not be higher.
