Ron/someone is absolutely writing these replies as a deflection tactic.

"The timescale is on the prospective buyer" well it wouldn't be if the entire club hadn't been systematically divided and devalued by you over your entire tenure.

He is obviously trying to shift blame and fan sentiment onto any prospective new owners.

I hope you are right. It does genuinely seem to be Ron replying to the emails (it mimics his style and turn of phrase very well if not), and I suspect that he really is keen to get Southend United off his hands now. However, it is so easy for any seller to overprice based on the investment and lack of return received over the years. So for example someone selling their house places a value on the fitted kitchen that they paid over the odds for 5 years ago without thinking that the new buyer is highly likely to rip it out and replace with a new kitchen to their own taste - so the existing kitchen is valueless to them.
Correct Sir/Madam or what ever name u want

I’d love to see the valuation reports.
This has echoes of the final couple of years of the Jobson Era. The asset value of RH went up by something over 2m and B&L shot up too. Even the Fixtures and fittings went up. This enabled him to borrow against it ( repayments of which we couldn’t afford) and made the accounts show a profit for the forthcoming sale. RM came to the club , paid a more true value, after revaluing the assets , and has been accused of buying the land on the cheap Ever since .

Do you mean had or hadn't?

Given that Ron has been able to provide several updates regarding his view of sale progress within the guidelines of NDA would it not be possible for Kimura to give us a similar status report from their viewpoint ?

well if it’s ok for Ron to speak outside the guidelines then surely a case could be made that Kimura could do the same ?

He hasn’t really said anything more than he has before other than it’s in buyers hands which won’t break nda

Does it matter who said what in an email Ron talk is cheep just sell the club before the next high court hearing .if you used commen sense and sold the club before the 14th .Then maybe there would no need to go back to the courts .

Ron has said in those emails it’s in the buyers lawyers hands. Wether this is true or not who knows? Could be a typical Ron move deflecting blame……again

If anyone believes that any delay is caused by the buyer then you need to give your heads a wobble
The ball may be in their court though. Consider the following scenario -

Kimura - "So this outstanding issue we found Ron, we want a warranty put into the contract guaranteeing that if this issue comes up, you'll be responsible for it. Do you agree?"

Ron - "No."

K - "Well, without that, we won't be able to purchase it. Have a think and let us know. There's a deadline on July 12th and we can move quickly."

A few days later...

R - "I've had a think and still no. Unless you've bought it by July 12th there'll be nothing to buy. I can also move quickly. So you have a think... do you want it or not?"
