My take on all this is that Ron is tired of being cast as the bad guy and genuinely believes he is not the issue in this deal. As such there’s no need to hide and a few replies is probably an attempt to deflate further protests.

Got asked what’s happening with the club on Friday night by my Stoke, Wrexham and Alloa supporting mates. I started to try and explain but didn’t get very far….basically it ended in a shrug and “**** knows”
