SUFC: The Future SUFC up for sale

Whilst some of the work at RH will require skilled trades I wonder if on the back of the feel good factor whether an appeal for an army of fans to spend a day sorting lots of the basics might work.
There’s 250 ****ing foxes living in the South Stand right now feasting on a bag of mouldy hot dog buns from when the kiosk last opened in 1998. Volunteers are very nice but we need ****ing Chris Packham in there pretty damn quick before the Gola League or whatever the **** these non league schmucks are called throw the ****ing book at us

Sorry, I’m not sure about the deal, is the sale for the whole development or just SUFC? I assume it involves the whole, or at least part, of the development, otherwise there is no gain to be made.

Why are 250 Leicester City supporters living in the South Stand ?

Those supposedly ITK should know better than to potentially compromise terms of an NDA. There’s a reason why there’s a deafening silence and I’d SPECULATE that it is so that the parties involved can continue their negotiations.

DD involves so many things, many of which may require compromise on both sides. Similarly the terms of any contractual arrangements effectively being picked through lawyer to lawyer to clarify, restate, insert, remove etc are going to be tricky.

This works a heck of a lot better if there is a mutual interest from both parties to get the deal done. In other words negotiation not confrontation.

There is NO urgency to finalise the deal. There is no urgency to sign or re-sign players. There may be a requirement to settle again with HMRC. The future of SUFC is NOT going to be defined on whether we win promotion (or avoid relegation) next season.

And yes I’ve been heavily involved in NDAs. They don’t necessarily achieve the desired outcome but wild speculation and leaking titbits don’t help in any circumstances.

Keep the faith, keep your patience and let the parties involved keep doing the necessary to start the next chapter in our history.

Why would he walk around with them ?
He’d be better off walking around with someone from the HSE so they can tell him what he needs to get done as an absolute minimum to get a safety certificate
I think he's already done the latter. I also think it's because he is aware that we get feedback from many, many supporters - by walking around with a few of us, he will be made fully aware of problems, some of which are not so obvious particularly to male eyes!

It’s astonishing in all the years I went to games and drank in pubs home and away with my fellow Southend supporters and I never knew so many of them were experts in corporate law, takeovers, DD and non disclosure agreements 😉

(With apologies for my sarcasm to the few who actually do have genuine expertise)
Reminds me of this (with apologies to the mods for going off-topic):

that could be a fantastic opportunity for the new owners to meet the fans whilst the fans do their little bit to help the new owners and help get the old girl patched up to a degree. And maybe if the new owners offer an incentive- for example give us 2 hours of your time and we’ll give you 10% off in the shop or 10% off your season ticket. The potential to build a relationship between the new owners and the fans with an idea like this would be huge. I’d be in with my limited DIY and decorating skills

Once the new owners move in will a supporter (at the right time of course) be joining the board?
I don’t think anybody knows this at this point but there is no reason to believe they will. I’m sure the consortium of investors, whoever they are, will want to make their intentions known once the takeover is confirmed and that will surely involve engaging positively with the fan base. Whether that will entail granting board memberships is uncertain but I would think unlikely.

They will have to if and when the new rules come into force so could make a big statement and get ahead of the game, but I doubt it , but it is likely in due course to be a Trust representative

Anyone trying to discuss corporate law, DD etc at the pub would quickly have found themselves drinking alone.

Quite possibly. Who knows what the motive is for those people.

I’m posting less and less ITK information, as it’s not worth it
.

I’ve never got involved in financial stuff, it doesn’t really interest me. I’ve heard bits and pieces about the takeover, some posters like @Medway Blue have their fingers on the pulse with their information, others are miles off the mark. I’ve been speaking with a few other ITK posters via DMs about transfer targets, that’s more the stuff I’m interested in.
Ignore the few mate, i promise you %90 on here value your info. As usual on the internet its the %10 that are noisiest...
