Maybe a new owner would want a bigger stadium for more than just a football club. If the hearns are anything to do with this, then all those boxing fights they put on can’t be cheap. I can imagine something like that would bring more corporate and maybe the need for a hotel. Perhaps bringing the original design and planning permission back into the game. This is of course speculation built on speculation built on a guess.

This, exactly this. After all the hype its gonna be a local skip company owner (or worse, a plant hire company!) thinking hes hit the big time, then realises its more of a money pit than he'd been led to believe.
