Wouldn't be the first erroneous rumour to emanate from the stewarding team.

If it was the Steward at the entrance to the east blacks, I heard him at half time talking with real "authoritiy" while getting several fundamental facts about the club wildly wrong.

If they’ve signed why wouldn’t they just pay the debt instead and avoid the ten point penalty instead of attending to court to present evidence that they will pay?

Guy we know in the West Stand told us at half time, that he'd been told earlier by a steward, that RM will be paying the debt on Weds, because his happy to string the sale on for the meantime!.
Guess we're find out on Weds!.
