Been a flippin' long time in selecting! Wish him all the best if it's true, Scally can be no worse than what he's had.

Steve Tilson WILL be the next Gillingham Manager and WILL bring in Freddie Eastwood as his first signing

(from FootballBollox.....errr sorry FootballRumours)

Football Rumours in get it wrong again shocker.

I was actually hoping he would get it but can see why they went with Ince, although if he does well they will lose him to a bigger club at the drop of a hat.

Knew he wouldn't get it. I am afraid if Tilson wants to get back into management he will have to look at conference and below. His Lincoln stint has tarnished his chances of a league job.

I hate their temporary stand and I hate their pub and I hate the way they seemed to beat us about 95 times in one season a few years back!

After the port v game on Saturday I was listening to bbc Essex and Tilly came on the show talking about the game at Canvey. I found it incredibly sad that our ex, very loyal, talented manager is managing at this level... Why do you think he hasn't managed to get back into the football league. It wasn't that long ago that he was tipped to go to Norwich.
Alg

Crazy

I said the same to the better half driving to the Pub ... He was up for the Naawich Job when Paul Lambert was offered it

Like Steve, but maybe he is truely as a player and manager a one Club Man :-) not even setting the world alight at lowly Canvey

Because he wasn't lucky enough to have a Freddy foisted on him when he was at Lincoln. I found it quite reassuring to hear the same old cliches. 'He did ever so well'.
