Yes he was owed. He agreed for his wages to be deferred so that the players could be paid first. He ended up not being paid for several months and left the club having still not received that money. He then took the Lincoln job.....having not received his money.

I thought (but may be wrong?) that he had, at least, received some of what was owed before he left? Not saying that makes it alright but factually there I think you may be wrong.

with Fry's football, whilst here at the top. Loved the excitement and thought process of Fry's teams of if you score 3, we'll score 4 !!!

Off topic, but the few months he was manager, was the most exciting time i had watching us play in the 45 years i've been a fan.

Am I the only one who thinks Tilly going to Gillingham would actually suck? Don't want him at any of our local rivals.

After what he did for us and the way he was treated I am happy to see him get any job.

Obviously Col U would be a stinker if he were to get that job, but I personally would like to see him back in football and wouldnt begrudge him a fresh start anywhere.

Steve Tilson and Scott Lindsey will be unvailed as the new management team at Gillingham on Friday afternoon.

(from FootballRumours site so hardly gospel!)
