I really don't see this going ahead, there's simply not a long enough break in the bad weather and the stands themselves will have loads of snow gusted into them too.

The health and safety lot would of had a field day that game with all that ice on the South Bank .:winking:That was the plan in 79, in the week leading up to the Liverpool F.A. Cup game. It had snowed considerably during the week, causing our NYD game v Watford to be postponed.
They kept the snow on until the day before the game ( Fri), removed it and guess what the pitch was frozen solid!.
And back then we didn't have the wind chill we've had this week.

I think the surrounding streets and safety for supporters is paramount. They will look at that first..The streets are not going to improve by Saturday.
