Hi all.

Posting for anybody who may be interested.

We’ve teamed up with Chris Phillips to launch a post match stream for fans to give their views on the game. The first one takes place on Saturday at 7pm. We plan on covering every home game initially.

Follow us and/or Chris for more info & please get in touch with Chris if you’d like to come on. More info here.

(Edit; thanks for moving to the appropriate place, admin 🙌🏼)
Will it be pre determined questions/views or live interactions

I too have chosen to use Bridgey as an impact sub, selected Crowther and pushed Ralph out wide to LWB. Started Morton instead of Wes and Dackers and Cards up front.

My thoughts are most teams use 2 to gang up on bridge, if he doesn't come out for the first half they have to restructure during the game. Morton to play as a Deep Lying playmaker alongside and as an outlet for Cav and Husin to push further forward, with instructions to shoot when the opportunity arises, and seek out those opportunities.

Dackers and Cards to be on the receiving end of Morton's longer balls forward and we have more than enough ability to keep possession and still seek out defence splitting passes to open them up. Still having plenty of options in Danny, Bridgey, Wes and Jack Wood to make an impact from the bench.

the rest remain unchanged from Saturday.

Just my thoughts.
Personally, I would like to see Cardwell and Waldron start up front. They are both highly mobile, intelligent players and read the game well. I think they have the capability to really stretch Gateshead's defence early in the piece.

If Waldron or Cardwell or both are flagging after 60 minutes, Dackers and Sandat would be more than capable substitutes.

I suspect this will be the front pairing when both are fully match fit.

Ticket sales are now up to nearly 4,600, so with the normal 500 or so extras that appear at the game, a minimum attendance of between 5-6k looks likely again. Adam Crowther will be very happy at that as he joined us because of our fan base and big attendances at games, It also helped that we offered him wages to sign.

Nah, JR has convinced the squad to play for free. Surprised this didn’t make bigger news at the evening with…

Egg on face time could be a reality, I can’t be confident that much for you.
This division is cack. As are the majority of clubs in it. No disrespect of course, but Ollie Kensdale will just ****ing header the egg away from danger anyway

It used to be about +500 on the ticket counter thing. But for quite a few games recently it has been 700 to 900.

These Northern chimps are nine points clear of us, sitting in 9th place in the table, two points off the last play-off place, so mugs they will not be! They may not have a massive following or ground worthy of the title, but we should dismiss them at our peril. There is no such thing as an easy game in this League, annoyingly.

That said, these are the games we must win to get any sort of traction towards the play-offs. Keep winning and see where it takes us.

Can we tip over 6k ? Gateshead obviously won't be coming down in any numbers, it's a very long trek, just down to Shrimpers this one :LoyalSupporter:

Not that advance sales mean much to away supporters, they've only managed 14 so far. I'd image they will bring 50-70 in total. As you say Harry, it's a long way down.

A post that improves as it progresses 😉 some ‘challenging behaviours’, as your erstwhile employers might have said, evident in the early part 😁

One thing I would add to what you’ve said is that while they are 9 points ahead of us, we’ve had 10 deducted. They have also recently lost their manager and their best player, Stephen Wearne, who was a menace when we played them the last two seasons. They are capable of a result at Roots Hall - no doubt about it IMO - but we should also be confident we’ve got what it takes to win the match if we play to our standards.
