This was my first game back after 6 weeks and jeez, wish I was back on holiday. I managed to watch all the games whilst away by streaming them but nothing prepared me for today and the dullness.
Was boring,lifeless and lacked any quality or creativity.
The only plus side was to see Ollie K back playing after his facial injury.
Let’s hope the summer break coming up gives them some battery recharge as some of these guys laid their hearts out for the club earlier in the season

It’s such a shame as it was a 7,000+ crowd today and if we truly want to build a fan base and push for the League status then we have to greatly improve. Am not sure what the problem is as it appears since the previous owner went and we have had a change of management alongside some of the players signing new contracts it would appear some of the fight and passion has gone.

This season, performances like that will be met with a meh. Next season it will be met with several thousand boo’s. A shame, as it’s another good crowd and I can’t imagine many will bother returning anytime soon after that.

What a shocking game of football, definitely one to forget.

I must just comment on Colin continually passing to defenders and putting them in immediate trouble, his decision making is woeful and he doesn't seem to learn while his shot stopping (don't think he had any today) is getting better all the time.

Just looked at the table
Without the -10 we’d be in the playoffs with 62 points
Best defence in the league
Third best goal difference
The -10 came with an embargo of over a year
We played games with barely enough players to make the bench
I get people are frustrated about recent performances but let’s take a look at the bigger picture

Judge Kev and co next season if we throw in some of these performances but not this season, a season we could have lost our club and also could have got relegated if these players jumped ship. They didn’t, they stayed loyal to us and have given everything for the badge this season

Maybe Rushall created chances. We’ve created very little since he has been here. Not like he misses loads. Took his goal well at Maidenhead and was in the right place against Daggers but we’ve really not created many chances for him. He runs the channels well but we don’t look to slide the ball through.

Fully agree with your post. Also I think Kev’s not giving Waldron a fair crack of the whip.
Waldron needs a consequent run of games to get into the grove. And Kev always seems to sub him when games are not going well.
I know confidence is a massive part of a strikers game. Kev needs to trust and give him the game time that he needs to make the breakthrough.

I'm not sold on Waldron yet. He was a goal machine at Rushall Olympic but not sure how much the step up is from NLN to NL but I've not seen much to think he will cut it as yet. Hopefully a full pre season will help but he doesn't look particularly quick so hoping he will be a fox in the box

Team is tired and nothing to play for now especially as most have got new contracts. January signings have not really improved on what we had already. Defensively I have no issues but we need to find a 20 goal a season striker to get out this league and some more pace and guile in the final third.

Harry Kane wouldn't have scored for us today. There wasn't one decent ball played into the strikers.

Easily the least entertaining match since Maher took charge IMO!

If that's what they consider as good to watch, I feel sorry for them. It's why we get 7k watching and they dont.I
Felt there were at least 3 deliberate stoppages engineered by their manager and I also felt they executed their game plan 3x as well as ours (if we had one).

Poor performance today but if we’re honest the season is over in the sense of promotion or relegation so all we can do is aim to finish on a high get a good pre season under our belt and go again in August weren’t the best performance by the lads today but what a great season they have had all things considered and if it weren’t for points deduction we would be sitting in the play offs and all be in higher in spirits

Well we're nowhere near Wrexham or Chesterfield yet mainly due to our forward play which is very laboured and predictable with Bridge .We also seem to set up very negative at home.Have the last few games been more about securing our league position than trying for that outside chance of the play offs ? . Again a big let down for a decent crowd which is a great opportunity missed .
