Not so sure about that. The MOM was their bald centre back Cuthbert. Demi put in an excellent shift as did Collin (apart from small mistake). The rest were just not at the races. I suspect that’s the last we see of Wes and Wood.
This was the reason, Kev said. The knee is fine at the moment.Gus not starting I would imagine being something to do with playing for England Tuesday and the knee problem he is carrying.
Some people do have short memories the players are by and large running on empty. No pre season, no proper training facilities, training tailored to avoid possible injuries while training, the list is almost endless.
Yes yesterday wasn't great granted and while most of those players will still be with us next season, some will not play as regularly as this. The management team know exactly what is needed and those needs will be addressed in time for next season.
There is an old saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" and it isn't just the playing side that needs attention. Patience please, even if it takes another couple of years to get back to the EFL.
They'll get that almost by default. If I was Kev or the club, I would give them a day or two off from training. They all looked like they needed a rest to recharge the batteries.
Yeah, I keep forgetting Ralph's low first-half hit, lol!Woeful. Not even one shot on target. Made a dreadful Woking side look almost mildly average.
Can't understand anybody applauding that shower each and every week. I get the sentiment, but we can't be accepting that as a standard moving forwards.
Surely that goes down as a pass...Yeah, I keep forgetting Ralph's low first-half hit, lol!
Yes, how true. Whatever the sensible realists say, the ones who complain the most about the team (and I include some 'high up' members of SZ staff here) won't let up with their ' I pay my money so am entitled to rant' rhetoric. They conveniently forget we have had the most extraordinary season in the club's history but hey ho, as long as they can be miserable!!There is an old saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" and it isn't just the playing side that needs attention. Patience please, even if it takes another couple of years to get back to the EFL.
Yes I know. I wasn't talking about Sunday and Monday. They'll get that almost by default.
Sunday, off; Monday will be a massage; treatments etc - and then travel, I imagine. Tuesday, they're at Solihull.
