I’m genuinely not sure why the demos stopped ? Back under a transfer M bar-go staff not been paid and somehow he walks away without a whisper

Nothing has changed, rons the king of robbing peter to pay paul, astonishing to me that any proper businessman would conduct business this way, especially over what seems a whole career.

At some point there will be information appearing which will shed some light on what is or isn't going on financially at the Club. When that happens this will be the thread that covers it. Of course, people could always chill and wait and see for a while, but judging by some of the stuff appearing on here that doesn't seem likely.

I hope this light shedding information won't be appearing too soon. The truth can often be quite mundane and boring. Wild speculation is much more enjoyable and, with luck, we will be allowed to wallow in it for as long as possible.

If I were a sponsor of the club, I would also be concerned about compliance. In particular compliance with the league's fair play policies. Will this form any part of your discussions?

Playing devils advocate, if the club turn around and say that:

1 no wages are owed

2 budget setting is not something to be discussed with another business

What would the response be? Is it a case that sponsors are looking to leave?

That is correct and is the reason why a certain player didn’t sign one hasn’t been registered and why we have missed out on a couple more on that managers office wall…

The sponsor I spoke to won’t be leaving. He wants his companies name out there and has chose a good part of the ground. He could have had a whole stand in his name but didn’t want to go to that level.

He has paid in full already and unlike some of you will look forward to the games and taking his guests. I did suggest he moves to better seats than the ones he chose.

If people really want to know what’s happening why don’t they do the same and spend some money, rather than constantly moan and have digs at those who dont.

The fact is your handful of games or even season card does not and never will entitle you to to all the answers you demand. Beside most of them are answered time and time again on various threads but you choose to ignore them because it doesn’t suit your agenda.

With Ron not having much to do with the day to day running of the club so we are told. Surely the wage struck is down to Tom?

Maybe he should be the pne to answer and question on embargos or non payment of staff?

I think some of us got bored with the constant, something did not happen therefore it’s an embargo and it’s Ron fault blah blah blah.

We all know Ron mismanaged the club for ages because he thought he was doing the right thing and we all know Ron has very little money/cash flow to pay for the demands of the fans - see the we need three players, why don’t we sign a 20 goal a season striker in the transfer thread.

I’m sure staff are have been paid late, I’m sure we can’t sign every player we want due to finances, it’s the same every year and most football clubs.

As fans should we know everything, no, this need from information and know everything that happens at the club “do the players have ketchup or brown sauce with their breakfast” is not really needed

Not much TL can do if promised additional funds from group companies doesn't arrive. That's just an example, not what has happened or what I think has happened.

Let's face it, we just don't know much about anything. Putting an entire post in bold doesn't make your argument any more effective, btw. Maybe we just need to take deep breaths and see what happens until we do know more.

Out of interest - simply because I have looked and am finding it extremely difficult to find anything - is there any where I can see the list of achievements that the trust have achieved with/against the club? I think it would be good for their to possibly be a thread where they update each of their achievements so all fans can see. If there is already one can someone point me in the right direction please

It is very reasonable... but speculation won't do any good. It just turns fans against each other. Demanding to know the facts might be the way to go.

Cubs at all levels pay far to much for some very basic footballers…… And the fans demand we pay even more and sack at least 3 mangers and all the staff a season.

That’s why we owe Ron £20m and thats why he is going nowhere until he gets paid….. Even if he ends up in Prison. People can whinge all they like but those are the facts so tough luck to those who can’t face reality.

Lots to disagree with here and I don’t have time on all points but one thing I want to be very clear on…WE do not owe Ron a penny. Ron has set his businesses up so the entity that owns the club owes him back what he has invested. Ron spent that money, not the fans. He hired and fired the managers. He gave them the budget that they demanded. This is not on us. All we ever wanted was a competitive side and a stable side. This nonsense that somehow he has done is a favour and now WE owe him…seriously that type of nonsense leaves me furious.
