I do I’m only 41, a year younger then Cricko.I think you should pay full whack cos you've lost weight![]()
True most of us 60 plus who have been watching the blues since the 50s / 60s have had to witness plenty of pain and suffering especially with some of our dodgy chairmen over the yearsNot if you’re 62+
It’s recognition for long years of pain and suffering.![]()

I am comfortable with £420. We are an EFL-size club without EFL subsidies in the South East. We also generate no other revenue. There isn't any comparison to us currently.
However, I do think we missed a trick by not offering a cheaper rate in North Bank, or alternatively, extending the 17-22 range to 25 or so. These ages will be amongst the average lowest earners and also the drivers of atmosphere in the North. It'd also allow the club to deny accusations of being the most expensive, as we could do what other clubs do, and quote the cheapest
Really if that's the case surely more appropriate to give the discount to people whove had a season ticket for a certain period of time. Unfer the current way a first time season ticket buyer whos 63 gets it at half price almostNot if you’re 62+

Ok 37% then still makes no sense no matter age the discount kicks in giving discounts based on age alone is ridiculous unless its for childrenits not half price , it works out at 37% discount , and it goes up a year each season for the next 4 years to bring it in line with the state pensionable age
Silver Screen at the cinema is an absolute steal. Free buses, prescrptions, lovely jumbly..........I'm not helping much?Really if that's the case surely more appropriate to give the discount to people whove had a season ticket for a certain period of time. Wait till SZ start taxing members who have only been on here for 2+ months.Ok 37% then still makes no sense no matter age the discount kicks in giving discounts based on age alone is ridiculous unless its for children

Not really sure what your point is. I'm sure it made sense in your head.Wait till SZ start taxing members who have only been on here for 2+ months.

Klarna don't charge the end consumer - but I suspect the retailer gets clobbered, ie if the club used a interest free finance provider it wouldn't get the full price of the ticket.I see what you're saying Yorkie but not everyone has a great credit rating I'd suggest. Don't Klarna just split the payment into 3, no interest? I mean charge a small premium for splitting the cost but they don't have to whack on loads of interest do they? Would just help those who didn't have the cash up front ..
It's going to blow your mind when you find out we get free bus travel, winter fuel allowance, cheaper trains (with a Senior Rail pass), and some other benefits.Ok 37% then still makes no sense no matter age the discount kicks in giving discounts based on age alone is ridiculous unless its for children
Maybe not but they might get a lot more uptake on season tickets to start with. People might be more likely to go/spend cash at the ground etc .. I mean other clubs do it.Klarna don't charge the end consumer - but I suspect the retailer gets clobbered, ie if the club used an interest free finance provider it wouldn't get the full price of the ticket.
Which I fully appreciate but many of you aren't and many younger people are also struggling so my point Is shouldn't the discounts be distributed in a way that targets the people who benefit most from them rather the giving a millionaire a 37% discount purely because they are older then 62It's going to blow your mind when you find out we get free bus travel, winter fuel allowance, cheaper trains (with a Senior Rail pass), and some other benefits.
Maybe that's because a lot of us are living on small pensions.
When I was in the ticket office earlier they said that they will probably be ready beginning of July. Was told just to keep an eye on emailsCan you collect season cards straight away this season? Sure I remember last season there was a waiting period
I seem to recall that some time in the dim and distant past it was possible to pay in instalments. Would have suited me at the time, but you had to go through a Finance Company, so I chose not to. Should you default on payment then the Finance Company will pursue for settlement and that could be an unpleasant experience. From the Club point of view paying by instalments outside of using a Finance Company could be difficult to manage. Can you imagine someone being refused entry because payment hadn't been received, guess that wouldn't go down well. Just trying to suggest not as straightforward as some think.Klarna don't charge the end consumer - but I suspect the retailer gets clobbered, ie if the club used a interest free finance provider it wouldn't get the full price of the ticket.
Just for clarity I've paid the 420 and am happy too I'm just questioning the logic behind a discount for over 62sWhich I fully appreciate but many of you aren't and many younger people are also struggling so my point Is shouldn't the discounts be distributed in a way that targets the people who benefit most from them rather the giving a millionaire a 37% discount purely because they are older then 62
It may not be straighforward, but it's comfortable enough for most if not all of the "bigger" clubs in the NL to be able to offer some form of payment plan, be it like York (10 months by DD) or Rochdale (3 months via Klarna) the point is plenty of clubs at this level are able to offer something to make life a bit easier for the average fan. We offer nothing. Which is very disappointing when we are one of if not the most expensive season ticket in the NL.I seem to recall that some time in the dim and distant past it was possible to pay in instalments. I'd have thought it would be after the swap period's finished, so, yes, perhaps during the first week of July? When I was in the ticket office earlier they said that they will probably be ready beginning of July. Was told just to keep an eye on emails
