Supporters Group News Rolling Protest Saturday 15/07/23

I'd hate to put ideas in anyone's head, but in 2018 we rented the billboard outside EFL HQ and put up a poster that read :

E = English
F = Fans
L = Let Down

..... alongside a list of clubs who had been failed, and the question "how many more?".

Their senior staff had to read that for six weeks.
The National League HQ is as follows.

The National League
4th Floor
Waterloo House
20 Waterloo Street
Birmingham
B2 5TB

Not a vast amount of advertising space in the square, but you could get an advertising van parked there for a bit I reckon if you got permission.

Just a thought, in addition to this is there a large billboard anywhere near his home? I think the campaign by "Led by donkeys" like the image below has been quite powerful and he'd hate seeing his face up on a billboard as kind of a wanted poster ("Con Martin: Wanted for killing Southend United")

I think they also used powerful projectors to project stuff up onto public buildings.

Just a thought....

There's the big ad board outside Roots Hall on Vic Ave, that has that **** slogan on. By the pizza shop?

Failing that, chuck a few quid to one of the residents that live in the water tower opposite his home and ask them to display a banner for a few weeks?

Signs on every lamppost along the with Captain Bu!!sh!ts face on would be a start

Yes -This should be open to all football fans from all clubs to support us in our plight.

Brighton done this way back in the 90's and their home stand was full of different football shirts from all clubs. all there to show solidarity.

I'm not on social media, but feel the word should go out for their help.
That was called “Fan United” day, there was one at Doncaster then the one at Brighton (I went to that one)

Looking at Google Street view, do you mean this one? If so, that would be a great place to have a big photo of him on!

LESS TALK - MORE ACTION.

We are all talking about doing this and that, regarding advertising and showing his face here, there, and everywhere.

Let those that have the ability to do so, DO SO.

This really is our last chance saloon with OUR SUFC,

Its abit short notice for all concerned re- the protest etc..
But I'm sure we can really get the ball rolling in a very short space of time, to get lots of publicity.

Social media seems to be the way forward nowadays.

March up and down Benfleet Road outside all his posh neighbours (he would love that) , stand all round the roundabout at Vic House Corner, keep protesting outside his house 24 hours a day until the little sh*t gives in.

We are Southend WE WILL NOT BE BEATEN.

Not the roundabout please. I can live with Benfleet Road being closed but blocking off the A13 could lead to civil war.

Could hang the Martin out banner from the cyclist statue if it's still there

Just in case the old bob-sleigher fancies avoiding the protest with a cheeky weekender in Dorset and decides to get active with a bit of hand-gliding (being just 500 yards from the shore and next to the Purbeck Hills we get loads of them flying above our garden all year) I've put up an impromptu sign so that he still gets the message.

Every eventuality covered.
