The thing is, we WILL sign a few players before the season starts - either loans or frees etc. I dont think that is in question (if it is, then Martin and Tilson should both walk) - the point is that in the meantime, we are missing out on some lovely free transfers.

I posted a week or so back that Tilly was almost indicating he was "waiting to see what was left" after everyone else had made signings... despite being shouted down by some on here, that may be true after all!

Back on the Duberry thing, the big draw their for him is Peter Taylor I would think. If Taylor wasnt there, I doubt he'd have signed for a club of that standing.

to be honest the big draw for Duberry is that he doesnt have to move house, Reading to wycombe isnt a big move, kind of makes sense.

Walsall are looking at him by all accounts and he is available on a free, after being released by MK Dons (Not because he is crap, but because MK wouldn't offer him a longer deal)

Haven't seen much of him, but from what I have, he seems very talented. Blackpool have already had an offer refused.

Local boy (Harlow born) and Left back Matt Richards, has been released by Ipswich Town. A good player he is. Currently training with the ooze by all accounts.
