Released Players, Possible Transfer Targets?

Someone I've mentioned numerous times as a second choice behind Harding, but he seems set to sign for Orient.

Yup; two year deal in the offing. Will be chuffed if he becomes the latest piece of the 'let's escape relegation by a couple of points' jigsaw. :)

Paul McVeigh on trial at Norwich again I see.
I know Tilly's been interested before and I reckon he could do us a job (although as we all know there are slightly more pressing postions to fill).

I'm probably alone but I still think our 5 strikers we have provide more than enough differing options.

Barney - Poacher;
Laurent - Unpredictable;
Walker - Pace and Dribbling;
Freedman - Experience;
Revell - Work rate and desire;

Corr, what a fool that Millwall chairman is. Transfer listing your best players just because they've rejected a new deal? I hope the Millwall fans forum really shoot him down ;)

Paul Ifill is on trial at former club Millwall. Would like us to give him a go...

Marlon Broomes and Karl Broadhurst are both experienced centre-backs who would be good at this level and are transfer listed on a free transfer. Broomes has been linked with Crewe and was on loan there this season I think but has Premier League experienc, 31 years old, about 6 foot.

Just out sort of player I would have thought but sure we cant afford him. He also lives in Brighton and so Millwall would seem an obvious move.

As a footnote his Mrs is a pig who used to work in a chippy. Not sure if this will help Tilly make a decision.

Brian Saah is on trial with MK Dons and played for them today. Either it wasn't him or he's turned us down.
