IIRC we had him on trial last season and he played in the friendly against Canvey. I have to say Upson looked more impressive than O'Keefe.

Walsall are looking at him by all accounts and he is available on a free, after being released by MK Dons (Not because he is crap, but because MK wouldn't offer him a longer deal)

Hmm. I'd say the £100k we bid for Theo should be used on him, but the difference in wages between Theo and Dickinson is too great. :unsure:

Apparently Millwall will be making a decision at the end of the week about him, plus he already has offers on the table.

Marlon Broomes and Karl Broadhurst are both experienced centre-backs who would be good at this level and are transfer listed on a free transfer. Broomes has been linked with Crewe and was on loan there this season I think but has Premier League experienc, 31 years old, about 6 foot.

Just out sort of player I would have thought but sure we cant afford him. He also lives in Brighton and so Millwall would seem an obvious move.

As a footnote his Mrs is a pig who used to work in a chippy. Not sure if this will help Tilly make a decision.
