He's absolutely chomping at the bit. But has been mainly getting fit this last week. A sensible option would be to give him about the last 20 minutes v Orient.

i agree, although dependant on whether we're coasting 2 or 3 up, as it would be better to give him a run out rather than chasing the game which he could aggravate his injury, if he's not fully fit.

Start with Cox / Fortune - end with Cox / Ranger ! If all fit, it could be a lethal combo in the future... we live in hope

As i celebrate my 70th B/thday on Tuesday Oct 4th ,im hoping Sufc can provide me with a nice present in the way of a victory2-0 will suffice with Fortune bagging his 1st for us and maybe Ranger if he gets a short spell on the ground ,if not Inniss to open his account.

Disappointing for Timlin as well. He was days away from starting at the beginning of the week, and now two or three weeks away. Obviously had a minor setback.

I know this is a thread supposedly about Ranger, but as we're discussing Timlin now, if he was really in the bad books, I very much doubt he'd have been at the forefront of stuff in the dugout pre-match as he was Saturday. Normally those out of favour are well out of the public eye.

Yep I think this one has blown over and the injury delay is legit rather than him being kept out of the team for other reasons

Whatever, Tims has been very much involved in and around the club, attending non-first team games he didn't need to and all the signs are that he will be back in the next couple of weeks. I don't know why anyone would wish otherwise and hence no-one should be disappointed.

We had a pre-match meal package thing last night, complete with legendary Crowny quiz.

When Crowny read the answers out, McGlashan and Timlin popped in to help out. He certainly didn't look like a man on his way out and disenfranchised by the club. Indeed, he was quite chatty and in good spirits with everyone.

I'd say the alleged "incident" has blown over and he is back to getting fit for an appearance soon.

So no Nile Ranger last night then, thought he might have been on the bench at least.Hope this is the right thread for Ranger related queries.
