We will be back in for Jay Simpson... what he has hit 10 in all comps... did not even start this campaign because of speculation.. Orient are not playing well, think of the goals he would get for us.... 100k in Jan, new hero.. (sorry undisclosed fee) wait and see.... I've been right most of the time :)

Didn't realise he had got that many..if he has it would take their chairman swallowing his pride even to accept what we offered last time (and be surprised if we did that let alone their chairman who sends players to coventry for long periods rather than sell them doing the requisite U turn). And that before we even get into the player being a free agent in 6 months.

Can't see it happening..if it does than it won't be a bad surprise.

Well you're wrong again. He has made 17 appearances in all competitions this season.....and has scored 3 goals.

As has been said on another thread, it looks like we (S.U.F.C.) do not have to hurry Nile back into training ......... and even then would Nile then be on the bench?

I'd always start Ranger ahead of Fortune.

That's not saying Fortune shouldn't be considered, but if you had to make a judgment call, I'd say McL and Wordy work better off Ranger and he does hold the ball up and win flick-on's better.

Fortune gives you a slightly different dimension and if we needed to change things up, he is such a valuable asset.

I'm not saying that we (Southend United) can maintain a play-off position but things like players returning and other "bonuses" (such as the performances of some players) are what you need to keep the points total ticking over.
