You may be right MB, but he is a young lad, he might gain full fitness quicker than you think

Get him on the bench, get him some time on the pitch and his fitness will come on leaps and bounds - Browny boy may even arrange a "behind doors that are closed" game to allow Ranger and Tims to progress significantly.

I will be a disappointed person if Ranger isn't playing a large role in Southend's march up the table come October.

I would quite like him to make an appearance against Orient next Tuesday, especially as we have decent seats in the East stand for the game with absolutely no stanchions in the way.

Would that be Leo? (Row G) :hilarious: That little wall is handy to put your coffee on!
.

Sat will be too soon but maybe on the bench for Orient- if he makes that then maybe the follow Sat the first 55 min depending on any reaction- if he doesn't make Orient then probably bench is best we can hope for on the Sat.

I wouldn't want to risk him bringing back too early, and see a repeat of Sheff Utd. Certainly not against Orient in the Pointless Trophy.

Maybe a couple cameo roles, last 10 - 15 mins, late October, with target of the Shewsbury Home game as starter?

I'm sure PB will do what's best !:unsure:

I wasn't there but the injury was significantly worse because a Sheff Utd player fell/stood/jumped up and down* on Ranger's ankle once he was on the ground ............ I would have thought that was unlikely to happen again. Well, I jolly well hope that wouldn't happen again.

Then we would have teleported back to the West. Plenty of view blocking stanchions there.

No, no, no, no, no. You misunderstand my question.

You say that you would like Ranger to appear on Tuesday night if there are no stanchions restricting your view. So my question is "does that mean that you do not want Ranger to appear if there are stanchions restricting your view?"

On second thoughts, I'm not that interested and for that reason "I'm out".

Sometimes irony is totally lost on me Rattus.

wasn't there either, i thought he fell awkwardly, and the Blade fell on top of him? The injury was a combination of both?

wasn't sure if it was bad luck, him not being fit, or sheer malice from the blade?

Whatever, no repeat please Nile...

Will he play up front against the Os, or maybe on the bench, i wonder how PB sees it

I'm certainly hoping that Ranger is on the bench for Tuesday - even if he doesn't get on the pitch it will give Ranger the smell of the game in his nostrils and drive Ranger on (not that he should need any more motivation than he has already).
