Heard last night from a very reliable source that he is 2-3 weeks away from match fitness.

You may be right MB, but he is a young lad, he might gain full fitness quicker than you thinkHe is probably months away from full match fitness after being out for 2 years.

Get him on the bench, get him some time on the pitch and his fitness will come on leaps and bounds - Browny boy may even arrange a "behind doors that are closed" game to allow Ranger and Tims to progress significantly. :thumbsup:
I will be a disappointed person if Ranger isn't playing a large role in Southend's march up the table come October. :smile:
I would quite like him to make an appearance against Orient next Tuesday, especially as we have decent seats in the East stand for the game with absolutely no stanchions in the way.

Would that be Leo? (Row G) :hilarious: That little wall is handy to put your coffee on!
.
And if there are stanchions in the way? What then?
I wouldn't want to risk bringing back too early, and see a repeat of Sheff Utd. Certainly not against Orient in the Pointless Trophy.
Maybe a couple cameo roles, last 10 - 15 mins, late October, with target of the Shewsbury Home game as starter?
I'm sure PB will do what's best !:smile::unsure:
Then we would have teleported back to the West. Plenty of view blocking stanchions there.
No, no, no, no, no. You misunderstand my question.
You say that you would like Ranger to appear on Tuesday night if there are no stanchions restricting your view. So my question is "does that mean that you do not want Ranger to appear if there are stanchions restricting your view?"
On second thoughts, I'm not that interested and for that reason "I'm out".
Sometimes irony is totally lost on me Rattus.
Whilst in my house, sometimes the ironing is totally lost.
I wasn't there but the injury was significantly worse because a Sheff Utd player fell/stood/jumped up and down* on Ranger's ankle once he was on the ground ............ I would have thought that was unlikely to happen again. Well, I jolly well hope that wouldn't happen again.
* delete as you wish
Will he play up front against the Os, or maybe on the bench, i wonder how PB sees it
