Supporters Group News Protest News

None of us truly know what is happening, all we know is what those involved in negotiations want us to know.
Even the Chris Phillips's, tweet is ambiguious and open to our own interpretation. The only thing we can be certain of is, the shyte is about to hit the fan and it will either land on us or Ron 'king ****' Martin.

Well let’s hope Ratbag Martin will be the one wearing a new faeces overcoat.

I think what goes around comes around & he is well overdue a nice big dollop of misfortune as far as I’m concerned

I really don’t like to wish ill on people but will make an exception in this case.

Protests are probably to late now. In hindsight should of been done years ago when the rats assets stripped the club back in the late 90s. Unfortunately now we sit in the National League with run down ground and training ground with huge debts for league we are in. Quite frankly Southend united are now embarrassment and joke club. Its not the same club I once remembered that for sure. Personally I hope soon this madness ends. Whether it's good or bad I'm not particularly bothered now, phoenix club with no ron martin isn't a bad thing to be honest, I actually prefer that thought compared to Southend united with ron martin.

The time to protest is if he fannys about and doesnt meet the deadline given to him.
And yet then there’ll still be another delay. The list of excuses people give for not protesting are longer than the list of teams that could beat Scotland.

He’s got an ultimatum, let’s ram it home and show to him what he will face should the worst happen. Right now, he probably fears a couple of expletive laden emails and angry statements in the local press….

What you mean is more of the same 🥱

I wouldn't be surprised if he stops at the "Dear Mr. Martin" line and then tosses it straight into the 🚮

It’s a shame but it won’t do anything protesting. It’s pointless at this point now.
It might be pointless to you it may even be pointless to the council Ron and Justin.. (although I’m consious all along this road Ron’s family are distraught with the public’s opinion of them ) but it’s not pointless to those that protest … when inevitably Justin walks away in a weeks time I can look my children and I say .. at least we got up off our arsed and tried everything we could to try to make a difference … 7 people there,70 people there 700 people there .. for the people that are there it certainly wasn’t pointless

When the day comes and we are no more you have no friends with common interest no pubs before the match no match to go and see, there will be a small group of fans that have met became friends and comrades in their efforts to put pressure on the chairman all like minded who will stay close and loyal friends for ever .. if we can sit on a wall on a busy road and chat for an hour or so we can pretty much meet and chat where ever we want …

Lock down changed the dynamic of socialising anyway. And you say this but look at the poor pathetic numbers that turn up to the protests. They don’t affect Ron. He doesn’t care. It’s embarrassing in my opinion. What will be will be. Life is too short anyway.

This.

I went last night, but I still disgust myself that I've probably only been about 6 or 7 times, I haven't done enough. It might not get to Martin, but it certainly gets to his family, and I will take solace in knowing I've helped to cost him a good few grand in security fees and have made him stay out all day. It will help me sleep a little easier.

Nothing ****es me off more than the old "protests don't work" cobblers.

Its an easy excuse for people to use because they can't be bothered to turn up to a protest against a man who is nothing more than a tyrant who is killing the club so man of you claim to love.

On the zoom calls we had with the likes of Blackpool equivalent of our protest group they were like myself flabbergasted with the lack of minerals our so called Trust have when it comes to sticking it on the Martins and they were 100% right.

For the trust not to back ANY protest on the week our club is on a life support machine is nothing short of a disgrace and for me they are not fit for purpose.

Well done on the protest group, and others who turned up to various protests but to the rest of you who did nothing do not complain if our club dies because you are part of the problem.

I know people who travelled from the Midlands, Haywards Heath and even bloomin Spain to attend so where are the other 7000 of our so called "best fans in the league "????.
