Another thing i have heard this morning is that the national league is unlikely to be back until January, but that wint be confirmed until issues from this season are sorted out
Interesting... would Bury be let back in, even?So would Bury and Bolton start with -12 again ? I’m guessing they would
That in itself begs the questions of they can get 20,000 to 30,000 testing kits just like that why cant the governments around the world do so
That has been said but we, the states and a few others haven’t. Just seems weird to me. Don’t want as political discussion at all, not the right forum for any of thatMost can.
The absolute stark reality is that for clubs at our level, this season is finished. It is not financially viable to pay players and play behind closed doors. That is the death knell for many clubs in the EFL.
PSG officially awarded Ligue 1 title, apparently. Can see the same being done here with Liverpool and it’s looking more and more unlikely this season will resume. Scrap it, everyone knows where they stand, look at next season however that might be able to kick off.
It looks as though they have attributed a mathematical average for the games not played.
e classement final
- Stade Rennais F.C. (indice de 1,79)
- LOSC (indice de 1,75)
- O.G.C. Nice Côte d'Azur (indice de 1,46)
- Stade de Reims (indice de 1,46)
- Olympique Lyonnais (indice de 1,43)
- Montpellier Hérault S.C. (indice de 1,43)
- A.S. Monaco (indice de 1,43)
- R.C. Strasbourg Alsace (indice de 1,41)
- Angers S.C.O. (indice de 1,39)
- F.C. Girondins de Bordeaux (indice de 1,32)
- F.C. Nantes (indice de 1,32)
- Stade Brestois (indice de 1,21)
- Football Club de Metz (indice de 1,21)
- Dijon Football Côte d'Or (infice de 1,07)
- A.S. Saint-Etienne (indice de 1,07)
- Nîmes Olympique (indice de 0,96)
- Amiens S.C. (indice de 0,82)
- Toulouse Football Club (indice de 0,46)
They have applied the same calculation to relegation, so my team tfc (Toulouse) are relegated (in all honesty, they deserved it!) along with Amiens. However the tfc situation could be challenged legally.
Its always been the obvious solution to upset the minimum number of people. Particularly as not relegating from the Pram and at the same time allowing promotion from the Championship takes away the biggest threats financially. Then the rest just flows. Been the obvious end point for weeks- doesn't mean it will happen necessarily. This is where Scotland will end up too as they will restrict SPL to allow more teams to the same affect.Interesting that there is now a leaked conversation that confirms the EFL are considering doing away with relegation this season.

Yes but it does raise the question as to how the hell we're going to survive in L1 again next season?
Agree 100%, how they do that needs to be sorted asap.
in relation to the prem, the idea as i have heard is to put all players, staff, officials and whoever up in hotels and they do not leave them, thus they are not coming into contact with anyone else (for me i see a flaw as in hotel staff but lets put that aside for now). They will use a limited number of grounds so games likely to be at neutral venues (St George’s park has even been mentioned) and behind closed doors. Please tell me I am not the only one that sees that this isnt possible.
As for hotel staff do they also then get tested prior? And then fall under the tests being carried out twice weekly to ensure everyone is safe, should point out that apparently the EPL will play for and source the tests themselves and not burden the government or health service with this.

I think Ron might just pull a rabbit out of his hat.Yes but it does raise the question as to how the hell we're going to survive in L1 again next season?
Sorry for the positive thought ( and I know it’s strictly verboten) but having seen the way we have galvanised the u23 to compete at L1 level with some shrewd signings I think we could surprise.Yes but it does raise the question as to how the hell we're going to survive in L1 again next season?
