President Donald Trump

I understand now.

China can torture murder rape and anything else.....the left have a mild sparse protest.
Trump issues a entry ban.....the left go into overdrive and demand justice on a biblical scale.

I expect Liniker's "followers" were out in force last night.
why are you turning on the right wingers and the politically neutral? I'm sure some of those protested against the Chinese too. It's bad form to completely overlook their contribution.

The right don't only protest to keep fox hunting you know, there is more to them than that.

I bet he/she/it goes on Briebart forums and espouses the benefits of socialism and how Marx was a genius.

I know your desperate to avoid the subject of your hypocrisy but you'll have to face it one day because it won't go away

very mixed messages here - you use 'snowflake' the insult of choice of the 'alt right' who are the people that were called neo Nazis until sections of the media tried to sanitise their views.
You use 'snowflake' presumably not because each snowflake is unique but because they melt. But in this case the snowflakes are not melting, they are organising and protesting and putting Trump and the appeasement he is getting from May under the spotlight and generating a lot of publicity and debate. So not really melting away.

And you say these snowflakes are a lynch mob. But the UK protests today have been very positive and well meaning and the police were there in numbers and not called upon. Lynch mob is inaccurate as the tens of thousands who surrounded Downing St were all aware that neither Trump nor May were there - so no lynching possible or intended. And what a strange phrase to use - you must be aware that is a term associated with the KKK and whose recent victory came with footage of KKK sections celebrating? Donald Trump.

Strange choice of words to use, I wonder what inspired the choice.

Are you insinuating I'm a Neo-Nazi/KKK-sympathiser?

I was not aware of the connotations of 'lynch mob' so I apologise for any offence caused. And I have no doubt the protests last night were peaceful and happy-clappy and everyone had a nice time. Has Trump resigned yet?

I was referring to this general trend, fuelled by Twitter and clickbait, of people reacting instantly to events without looking into the full story or really thinking about them. People read what they want to read on social media and then jump on the bandwagon. Just look at the #bantrump or #mayresign hashtags on Twitter, they're like sheep. Social media doesn't reflect wider public opinion, though.

And what do these constant protests actually achieve? If anything, I think they make the Left more unpopular with the general public. It's always the same types of people and the same placards, and they're always in London. The Government has already (rightly) dismissed this petition to ban Trump from the UK - did you really think they'd ban the President of America, probably our greatest historical ally, from the country? Come on. Surely it's better to engage with him than distance ourselves from him and possibly cause greater problems? It's called diplomacy and politics, the Queen has hosted plenty of dictators and dubious political leaders in the past. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, and all that...

You don't have to apologise. Lynching has been around long before it was associated with the KKK. It actually means when a group kill someone without trial.

Bigoted lefties always have to use an insult to silence debate. Just like they can't accept the democratic vote for Trump or Brexit.

Who actually lost by 3 million votes. It's like an election in some banana republic, you know like the ones they like to bomb.

I know your a democracy denier but can I remind you that Obama won by the same rules. You can't have forgotten Obama he's the man who bombed more counties than George Bush, drew up the list of 7 muslim countries and actually banned certain groups of people from travelling to the USA.

He also helped secure the Brexit vote, nothing like someone from another country telling us Brits how to vote. I personally know people who were undecided but chose Brexit because of Obama's visit.

Troll away Rigsby, I'm no democracy denier. I'd put that on Trump - I wouldn't think it would be wise to sack someone who knows far more about the law than me, just because I don't get my own way. He's like a petulant brat, a typical bully. No wonder you feel drawn to him eh?

I have seen plenty of cowboy films when a mean hombre screams "lynch him"...not a KKK in sight.

Come on MK,don't be like that.....I mean first KKK,then racist, then bigoted, now bully...where will it end.

I think this is a relevant now as it was then:

I don't know whether I'm alone in this but I'm increasingly getting the feeling that Trump may prove successful in unifying Europe, (a task they have difficulty managing themselves) which is the opposite of what he would wish. The fawning of right wing leaders in Europe (Le Pen) and May in the UK over their orange friend (Phil was there first:smile:) could well rebound on them............at least, I hope that will be the case.

If they don't commit crime then what's the problem ?

The left media want to suppress every story which doesn't suit their agenda.

Now whatever happened to the Calais "children"?

You need locking up if you can't see the repurcussions of what this will result in.
