I can's actually see that happening though Tangled. Unless he's actually broken a State or Federal law everything else has a plausible denial clause built in. I suppose the current investigations may go some way to getting to an impeachment but I doubt it, I hope I'm wrong and the sooner this mad man is gone the better.

Ah, but as Rigsby would no doubt say, I'm old enough to remember when Nixon was impeached.In fact I was working in Ohio the summer the Watergate trial was going on.

Think at the time the Democrats actually controlled Congress but really can't remember.

Not sure Trump will actually get impeached over his alleged links with Russia or for the sacking of the head of the FBI,just saying his time will surely come.
 
I doubt it will. He's got to lie, and lie badly, before the Republican controlled congress will turn on their pay master.
 
..........and to think some on here were seriously concerned by a Trump Presidency................almost four months in and he's shown us, we had absolutely nothing to fear! :winking:

The only downside of a Trump impeachement would be that Vice -President Pence would be a lot worse.:scared:

According to the BBC Nixon wasn't impeached. He resigned before he could be.

Give it a rest. This was the very early 1970s, i.e. about 45 years ago. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that peoples' memories fade.

I should know, it happens to me all the time.
