Pre-game entry music

I'll have to find my old Kursaal Flyers play list.

On that note, imagine the Blue Voice belting out 'Little does she know that I know that you know...'

Actually that could work! 🤣

Sheffield United play Annie's song.

Nottingham Forest play You've lost that loving feeling.

Hull City play Can't Help falling in love...

Now we can have the Kursaal Flyers!

Ive just read that the first performance from Kursaal Flyers was actually at the Blue Boar! It's a sign!

I'm only joking

(a little and actually this would be amazing)

For me personally, I want to help enhance the match day experience and if I can embrace fan input to help achieve this then I am all ears.

Taking a different tack, with the new screens, is there potential for live scenes direct to the scoreboard from a camera in the tunnel as the players line up before coming on to the pitch. I’ve seen this work at music concerts where the intro starts as the artist leaves their dressing room and makes their way to the stage. Definitely whips the crowd up for the act and I’m sure the players assembling could do the same. Sky Sports don’t miss many tricks and cameras in the tunnels are all part of their build up. Shouldn’t be beyond our capability?

That's not my area if I'm honest but after meeting with Rhys at the club last month, there is alot happening with lots of things all positive. Lots of ideas being suggested and some even coming to fruition already.

Wrestling

I'm pretty old school, I'd have no music and let the fans generate the atmosphere.
but if we do have music, even though I like metal and would love some Iron Maiden, Metallica, Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian, the old songs that are part of our identity are the best because they're part of our identity. One thing I've long thought is that we should focus on local bands, so Depeche Mode for one

Really ? Are we American teenagers then?

How about some Dr Feelgood or Eddie and the Hot Rods? Keep it a bit more local. Martha and the Muffins as well maybe

@They Call It Madness!!! @Napster If your looking for a local connection, then Ian Dury maintains the likelihood is that he contracted Polio, during the 1949 Polio epidemic, at the Westcliff Seafront Swimming Pool (Subsequently it became the Westcliff Leisure Centre and is now the Genting Casino).

Anyway I've always found the opening lines of his song 'Plaistow Patricia' rather rousing and particularly moving.

just a thought.

Yes, it's the Kursaal Flyers for me. The perfect song. Full of drama, noise, bombast and mundanity with a rousing and almost incomprehensible chorus. The perfect song for our experiences at the Hall and for remembering where SUFC has come from. Little did you know eh?
