Pre-game entry music

Agree on the metal side of things, think it can really push an atmosphere and goes well with it. I don’t like the three little birds thing, I get why but I’d rather forget about those times.

Think we need something new and unique. Something people come to Roots Hall and whenever they hear it they think of us. You do a great job Ben and always have, keep up the great work.

Bolero for a walk out theme? Really? Jeez. A bit namby pamby. Hardly gonna get the pulses racing is it.
If you want to use some classical… carmen burana or some holst… or really cheesy (though I love the tune), war of the worlds.. not some bloody ice skating nonsense.
I fear that he is not talking about Ravel's "Bolero" nor even "Abaddon's Bolero" from the "Trilogy" album by ELP, but some modern nonsense from a nondescript beat combo currently favoured by "da yoot".

Yep...metal is criminally underused at football.
Metallica is a bit middle of the road for my heavier tastes, but I'm not sure you could get away with playing a gentle bit of Cannibal Corpse at the football...
I agree with that Sherif. I've played (or should i say djayed due to my dad) music all my life but im really coming to to appreciate so many bands and genres now. Learning so much about what has always been out there but maybe forgotten about or not used as you say.

Thank you.

Never going to please everybody but like I've said before, do try and accommodate all so appreciate the praise.

Always open to suggestions and some will work, some don't. Story of the Blues is requested by Micky G to me almost every week and I never go for it. Happy to give it a go, In fairness ive forgotten about it more recently!

A fan has emailed recently with some great ideas from films and Wrestling. Some of these are metal and are great songs that would go well. Watch this space with these.

Please keep suggestions coming in, message the club, contact me on here, come and speak with me on a match day if you sit near the South East upper corner.

For me personally, I want to help enhance the match day experience and if I can embrace fan input to help achieve this then I am all ears.

we have more fan engagement with Ex players through Andy, we now have the playlist so things have evolved.
Roy on 23rd Nov coming out to Bolero .... being giving this some thought, perhaps he can mimic the Torvill & Dean dance with Frank as his partner. Getting Frank up again after being thrown to the floor at the end could prove troublesome tho and delay kick off.

Metalingus by Alter Bridge would be amazing!

If you like wrestling references for entrance music, refer to the walk on music for DX or Chris Jericho...
