Struggling a bit with the top one. Like anyone else who saw every game that fantastic season, I think I can recall pretty much all of the players. It looks like the name ends in a "Y" which would mean Beesley, Bentley (elsewhere on programme), Lindsey or Riley. Doesn't really look like them.
Keith Lindsey

I don’t know, Mick. I can now clearly see the “Keith” and it looks like a scribbled surname ending in a “y”.

Yes, I can imagine, rather than clearly see, the "Keith" but that seems to leave just 3 letters.
No matter, as I said, I'm happy of course to take the word of a first hand witness to the signature !! Luckily his defending was better than his handwriting.

We joked about Keith's signature at the time and joked he had changed his name to 'Keith Lly'. I think he just wanted to sign quickly and watch the game!

Reading v Southend. 7th December 1990.
Only the Leyland Daf, or daft as some called it. But a great performance. Very enjoyable. Great commentary from John Adams, bless him, our former Chief Executive. Probably Adam Locke's best performance for us. He was inconsistent, but when he was good, he was very good.

I was at that game, I also saw us beat them 4-2 away in the league that season . Happy days.
