This is the email i sent to the club. My professional hat on....

Dear Southend United Football Club,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to start by commending the club on the great strides made as a community club. The improvements, such as the scoreboard and clock working in the south, are much appreciated. Keep moving onwards!
However, I am writing to express my concerns regarding the availability of the full kit for kids. My son, like many other young fans, is eager to have the full 3rd kit from the man in red on his Christmas list. Unfortunately, the club shop currently only offers the option to pre-order the shirt, which is quite disappointing.
It is crucial to address this issue promptly, as it could lead to disappointment for many children on Christmas day. My son, for instance, might question the existence of the big man if he doesn't receive the full kit he desires.
I feel that MACRON undervalues us as a club. For example, Gillingham receives better bespoke options for kits, The Gillingham FC Replica Shirt Range | Gillingham Football Shirts (made in Italy not Bolivia) which is frustrating for fans like myself who are passionate about our club's gear. The lack of available merchandise across the board is a missed opportunity for the club to generate more revenue and better serve its fanbase.
While I understand that the club faced significant challenges last season, including the near financial collapse, it is essential to have plans in place, especially for retail. The takeover has been anticipated for some time, and better stock management should have been a priority.
Instead, we have stock that seems to be produced by an amauater if you look at the Southend United Crest (attached)
If MACRON cannot meet the demand and provide the products that our fanbase deserves, it might be time to consider partnering with another firm that can. Liam has a great team at the shop. He should be having the stock that matches his and his team's professionalism Ensuring that the full kit is available for kids is common sense and would help capture the future generation of Shrimpers. Currently, the lack of stock is preventing kids from proudly wearing Southend tops. may change teams. I took great effort to steer my son away from the Premiership local teams. If you can not purchase a kit. he, may question his love. Who can blame him?
In conclusion, addressing these concerns would not only enhance fan satisfaction but also increase revenue for the club. I hope the club will take these points seriously and make the necessary changes.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Kind Regards
Darren G
