SUFC: The Future New 2024/25 kit - sponsored by c2c rail - officially released and available from club shop

Our hopes and visions for the rebirth of Southend United, plus any plans published by the consortium for discussion
Also we got our son the winter coat which was actually very nice and he loved it. However, the zip broke after a few weeks and the store have been trying to get another... to no avail. So now have to give up, get our money back and buy elsewhere. Lost revenue again.

One thing I will say for the sizing is the shirt that does fit, fits me perfectly so I'm not actually upset about that. Is the Macron sizing the same for all the other teams they make for?

The trick they are missing imo is pocket money merchandise for kids, I’m going back 30 years when I think John Mains wife ran it and always could go on match day and get pin player badges to spend his pocket money
The shirts and costs were expensive but great Xmas gifts. It’s early days for new team but looking at ways to get shop merchandise at affordable price would be on top of my list . Still got mugs with players on them, was a given I got one from my son at birthday/ Christmas and brings back great memories
And the crowds were a lot less so todays average would be a big boost , plus I know away fans like to take back something rather than the normal three points 😂😂

Assuming we will be contacted/emailed when our orders are ready. Never had to pre order something from Sufc before, is a farce. Tier 5 club can’t keep up with demand for replica kits. Macron clearly out of their depth.

We was saying last game about shop loosing money ( a right bulls up ) can’t even buy anything blues related to Christmas. I would love to see people at roots hall & down the town wearing their SUFC Bobble Hats someone needs to have a good kick up the arse and get this sorted,

I popped into club shop before Charlton game to enquire about the pre-orders. They're expecting the orders to be ready around 1st week of Dec. I would expect (but that doesn't mean it will happen) an email to say ready to collect

I heard Liam in the club shop on Saturday having to go through the motions with a customer who was complaining at the lack of shirts. The customer wasn't rude but he was not the nicest, I do feel for Liam and the rest of their staff, they really are flogging a dead horse 90% of the time.

I really hope COSU get a grip of it next season and do their best to make it a club shop to be proud of. It looks so much better than others, however ours might look decent but the product is ****e. Whereas others look tin pot but have decent kit on sale.

Lots of things are in motion. Watch this space.

I don't know why we stuck with Macron to be honest. We were apparently going to go our separate ways in the summer, with another supplier coming in (Possibly Puma, but not 100%) but we appear to have done a last minute U-turn, perhaps due to the takeover delays. For whatever reason they are not able to manage supply and demand for a club of our size at this level. It has been this way since the start hasn't it really. I feel for the shop staff, as they are the ones that get it (unfairly) in the ear due to delays and lack of stock all the time. Not to mention lost revenue for the club, which must be sizeable. I hope we are in a position to breakaway at the end of this season, as it simply isn't good enough.

100% Puma

sadly not - Liam told me we're tied in to Macron for another season.

Unless we can 'buy out' our contract with them?
