Well im going to nominate......Nev Southall for his uncaring attitude he displayed when he appeared on Soccer Am the morning he was playing for us against Fulham....
 
Just beat me to it with the Fat Nev vote.

Honourable mentions though to:
- Boere (no respect at all to the fans, IIRC even from his hospital bed in Japan)
- Connelly the Waster
- Ricketts who should have at least tried to meet our hopes (instead of just confirming the expectations of many).

For me its undoubtedly Graeme Jones. The pinnacle for me came when Rob Newman named him as captain and lone striker at Carlisle once. Although admittedly this was Newman's decision; another guy I seriously dislike. Although only after he stopped playing.

Although in the time I've watched us the most disliked player by the fans has to be Phil Gridelet.

But we did get him back when we played oxford. Got so p'ssed of he threw his jumper on the floor. hahahahahaha
 
oooh i'm having a hard trouble deciding, I've witnessed too many shambolic wrecks of footballers but Graeme Jones used to get me proper riled.

32 goals for Wigan two seasons before joining us he was useless on every level :guns:
