I thought he was pretty sound and complimentary about us in his pre-match interview,Molesley is a professional and I'm sure he would accept that his term with us didn't go the way he planned and hoped. That's the way it is in professional football and he took the hit and moved on. He now manages a team in the same division as us, and if they win he might get a little feeling of satisfaction inside, but apart from that I doubt he lose any sleep if they lose. Interestingly Chris Powell went down the slippery slope as he couldn't cope, but he is still loved by the Shrimpers faithful.
At the end of the day football professionals do their job without too much loyalty to anything apart from their contract as tenure can often be too short for loyalty to build. I'd neither clap him nor boo as I doubt he will come anywhere near our supporters. Far better to give our full attention to our current head coach and the team. Big support from the beginning does wonders for the team and shows we care. Obviously, if we do give them a tanking then it would be a poor show not to ask what the score was, but in a friendly way.
Odd really how Mark Moseley managed to get himself a half decent gig at a full time football club quite quickly while Sol hasn’t worked in football since other than a short stint with Sky where he made himself look a complete tit with his lack of knowledge that Phil Foden was left footed when suggesting the defender should’ve shown him ‘inside’ onto his weaker left foot…….
We. Don't. Care.By all accounts Sol Campbell is an unusual personality - which is often something quite common with high achieving sportsmen. Neuro non-typical is one phrase i have heard.

Personally I think MM might make it back into the EFL one day - maybe even make a League One club.
I see his weird as +uck interview is doing well in viral laughing stock sort of way and its irrelevant but I think he needs haircut.
Good to see our current manager acknowledging his existence in a sporting way.

He did, no argument there but he was allowed to bring in a lot of staff and a hell of a lot of players, most of whom were very poor, so it wasn't 100% down to Ron, more like 90%.Mark had both hands tied behind his back at Southend. All i can say good luck to him.
The players he could get would be nowhere near the top of his list due to our situation at the time. He never got a chance to see if he deserved to be liked or hated although many seem to have made up their minds. He did, no argument there but he was allowed to bring in a lot of staff and a hell of a lot of players, most of whom were very poor, so it wasn't 100% down to Ron, more like 90%.

Do you fancy Mark Molesley?sure - you were not obliged to reply ...
or to use a fans forum to heap abuse on someone you don't know who has represented his country at the highest level ..
meanwhile ... MM is getting these headlines ..

RB, those achievements were as a player. He was a great player, sure. Many great players have turned out to be **** managers. We've had a few here. Contrast that to Tilson, who you also loved from memory .. can't remember him winning any PL titles. Struggling to see your point, chap. Let the hate for MM go, he's not ours any more, he belongs to Aldershot.sure - you were not obliged to reply ...

If Sol was that good as a manager, why hasn’t the greatest mind in football got another management role? You only need to listen to the stories that came out during his time with us to know the answer to that. Sol is the reason he hasn’t had another management role and it’s embarrassing to see him crying to the papers every 6 months that he still hasn’t got a job.at the age of 40 dearest Mark is a manger of a non league club - great work Mark ..

Top man thank you ?He was a bit hesitant to head our way in all honesty. He kept his distance but did give a little applause at the end, which seemed to be reciprocated.
Wish the bloke well but lets move on now.
I do ! Funny how he left and brown got us close to staying in the leagueDefinitely should be given a good reception and respectful clap, as you have alluded to he was dealt such a bad hand, I do not blame him for our relegation from the FL
