That home shirt is horrendous. It would have been better with white stripes like the early 60s. After all, we are blue and white, not blue and yellow. It was only because of Vic Jobson promoting Laing Builders, that he was affiliated to, that yellow came into it, as they were all about yellow.
Macron, we are blue and white. In the 70s, we even had 2 songs about blue and white, sung in the North Bank.

@tommy tucker, I'm pretty certain that @Shrimpergonzo was not referring to you at all in his post. Someone called Tommy was mysteriously referred to earlier in this thread as being to blame for releasing the photoshoot shot of the shirts. That is who @Shrimpergonzo was mentioning. So there is no need to get irate as none of his comments were aimed at you.

Fair point, although they must have known it was risky doing a photoshoot in a public place as @Shrimpergonzo has already said.

As a wise poster once said on these very boards, a little bit of knowledge is dangerous.

Edit: strapping on my goody little two shoes, I can say that I had seen this photo a good while before it was leaked, and I managed to keep it secret. Now where’s my halo 😇
 
Maybe they should have done what they do with new car designs and stuck gaffer tape all over the kit to avoid pesky snappers leaking the new design!
 
Last season's home was always going to be a tough act to follow and so it has proved. Home kit last year was easily the best since the mid nineties. First impressions not great on this one and red with Southend is like oil and water for me.
