So good that we have a squad which, with a couple of execptions, are young and talented footballers with genuine potential and value. A year or so ago we were wondering who we could sell to help bankroll us. Kev and the team (including Ron) have done a lot of good work to rebuild this squad and get us to a really good foundation and starting point for the next several years. We have big decisions to make with a number of expiring contracts next summer.

Wonder how our squad value (very approximate) stacks up against the other teams in this league?

When I saw “monitoring” it doesn’t necessarily mean a bid will come in.

At any time, 1000s of players are being “monitored”. We are “monitoring” about 10/15 players at present.

Doesn’t mean anything will come of it, but also means acceptable/non-acceptable bids will come of it.

Great player but I’m not sure where he fits in?

Maybe there are legs in the Kensdale to Ipswich rumours?

It does not necessarily mean that he comes into the squad straight away, the way the back line have started it means Kacper will have to earn his spot. It improves our options at the back and also likely pushes the 3 starters to become even better knowing there is another solid defensive option available.

But just how a seemingly potless club can find the sheckles to make this happen is anyone's guess ..... probably best not to know

A fantastic signing, a huge well done to all involved, and that includes us fans for making him so welcome last time round he just wanted to be here again despite such obvious ability that surely could have taken him to a higher level.

The feel good factor this brings should boost the attendance tomorrow even if Kacper plays no part in the match.

Let's face it. If the money was there (somehow), this is brilliant immediate and medium term business. We can get a season or two of a quality player and then have every chance of bringing in some serious cash when his ability becomes more widely recognised.

Potentially another Stan / Freddy in that regard.

This is a game changer.!! He will be the one that helps us get out of this league. He was the reason we went unbeaten last season.
We can now play Ralph LWB and once lopata is up to speed he can go straight in. Kensdale or Hobson would be the ones to drop out in my opinion
