Kacper Łopata Signs!

As it is said you are playing for your shirt as long as you put in a shift during the matches then you would have nothing to fear ..And i am sure kaspor is under no thoughts of walking straight back where he left off .He will have to earn his place as any other player .

Last year the side was pants.. utter pants.. he shine. This year, we’re better.. let’s see how he shines now

This is a game changer.!! He will be the one that helps us get out of this league. He was the reason we went unbeaten last season.
We can now play Ralph LWB and once lopata is up to speed he can go straight in. Kensdale or Hobson would be the ones to drop out in my opinion

Needed this confirmation.Great News! 💙💙💙💙💙🥂🥂🥂🥂🥂👏👏👏👍 :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter: :LoyalSupporter:

Yes, a very special player at this level. His strength and clear leadership abilities will soon take him to the top but he can't be match fit and our defence has been strong so I don't expect him to start on Saturday. With a bit of luck he will come on as a sub towards the end and receive the standing ovation he deserves for putting his career on the line and coming to a non-league team. Very soon he will be vital to our promotion charge this season but probably not straightaway.

Excellent.

A huge well done to Kev, Darren, Benno for the atmosphere, style of play and positive attitude going through our club & into this squad; which has attracted players which should be out of our reach. Players want to play for Southend United!

Hats off to Stan, Tom & Ron on convincing Kasper this is the right club to be at, for keeping the communication open with Sheff Utd for months and getting this over the line.

If Kasper shows the ability we have seen in those 17 games last season then this will be an excellent piece of business and will pay dividends in the future.

The 3 CBs we have now have done a great job so far, this adds depth, cover & leadership which will only improve us.

I can see more teams shooting from their own half against us (like Eastleigh) as that's the only way you'll going to score against us now :-)

Fantastic business from the club, knows for a couple of weeks that it had legs, and associated costs had been agreed, I assume it was always in doubt incase a league club came in.. alas the gods let Southend’s deal be agreeed and here he is ! I assume he is 2-3 weeks away from full fitness and 100% we will have injuries or loss of form across the back… all this means is this ‘ everyone else will have to pick up their game including Lopata if they want to be in the first 11… if lopata is better I’m training and practise matches than the other 3 then he comes in .. they will know that and he will know that .. that’s football

I understand that this was key to the deal as Stan was able to demonstrate first hand how dropping down can help his career.

This has been ongoing for months and held up by Sheffield.

The plan was to make him Captain but that would be harsh on Ralph - first off Kasper has to show that he is better than the three current centre backs who have all been excellent.

Notwithstanding this, it is an excellent signing for us and hopefully shows that we are becoming an attractive destination for players to further their careers.

Yep, I said ages ago if we signed him I would make him captain and I heard this was the plan. Maybe next season.

Did someone not say one of our players had all but agreed to jion a leauge club .So we have moved to get in a ready replacement .
